Mmmm I don`t think so. It is the Lord who is dealing out the judgments during the trib, and it is HE who will cause the great earthquake and shake the heavens and earth, and finally it is HE who will come with His angelic army to deliver Israel and have vengeance upon His enemies.

We do NOT present anything to the Lord, let alone `the kingdom.` You have been deceived, I believe by the `dominion` view, that says we will take the kingdom and present it to the Lord.

`...the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God....` (2 Thess. 1: 7 & 8)

I realize many "don't think so".   And that is fine, but you certainly have a very wrong idea of what I believe and am influenced by.  I do not ascribe to what is currently  known as dominion  theology.  That's a bit hard to even define because it means different things to different people, but by and large the  idea that  we are to take over politics and "rule" with righteousness I find absurdly misguided and totally antithetical to how I understand His real plans.  Politics and culture WILL change, but not by our  efforts.  Those will change as men's hearts are changed by the light of  Jesus Christ.  Trump worshipers are much  closer to being dominionists than I ever will be  and you certainly won't find  me in that camp.

Praise the LORD!

You have two options with this passage.  Dismiss it, overlook it, claim it doesn't say what it clearly does, or......perhaps.....say "hmmm....maybe there is something about His plan i haven't fully  apprehended yet."   And begin to seek Him for better understanding of what He's trying to share with us here.

I find few willing to confront this head on. 

But it's a revealing question to ask, and one I am dead certain He  is intent on providing understanding of in this  day.  It ties into many other clear and unambiguous Scriptures if we can just get past tradition long enough to have  eyes to see them.

These are related if you care (dare) to pursue Him in this:

And another, this  is a story of David, rich in typology that  begins in about 2nd Samuel 13 and contains this:

Then the king returned and came to the Jordan. And Judah came to Gilgal, to go to meet the king, to escort the king across the Jordan.  And Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite, who was from Bahurim, hurried and came down with the men of Judah to meet King David.

That whole story is rich in revelation found in types of the coming "Son of David" our  King.  It's worth  some study and meditation.  But once David had left Jerusalem and his throne due to Absalom's rebellion, he refused to come back and take up his rightful place again until he was invited to do so by his own people.

There are many other "threads" that need to be drawn in for the full picture, including Ephesians 4 and some understanding of what it will mean when His corporate Body has been brought  to full maturity, which  has never happened yet....but it will. 

There is much, much more and i guarantee He is very, very intently  focused on revealing it to any who will pursue Him for it.   I'll warn you, a lot of sacred cows will be slaughtered in this process    But if you want meat, cows have to die. 

We will recover the gospel of the  Kingdom Jesus preached, and when we do, as a mature Body, the world will definately  be affected.  And it won't be by those expecting to escape when the richest, most power filled part of His plan is unfolding and He begins to do mighty  things THROUGH His people.

Thank you for giving more detail of your view with scriptures. I see that those scriptures apply to Israel as they are an earthly nation and thus will have to address kings and nations. Now can you give scriptures specifically for the Body of Christ to back up your view?

I would like to see both views in more detail.   I do not remember the church fathers teaching either view.

But from the Didache, we have this,

 

Chapter 16. Watchfulness; the Coming of the Lord. Watch for your life's sake. The Apostasy is in the beginning stages now, and has been since Christ Jesus' Resurrection.
False, but ear-tickling, doctrines such as the rapture, unconditional love and once-saved-always-saved, have crept into the churches and eroded the Truth that Jesus taught. These and other such fables are rampant in our assemblies today, and only about 20% (if even) of what is commonly preached and received by the masses, is actually in line with Scripture. 

God's great plan and purpose has been lost. Yet He always has a remnant who believe...

GOOD NIGHT ,  look at todays all inclusive version of LOVE .   I hear this word more than ever today , AND YET its a love that is all about ACCEPTING sin

accepting even other religions as valid .     THIS IS HATE .      For it is written ,   You shall not HATE your brother in your heart ,  You shall in any way

rebuke and correct him and NOT allow SIN UPON HIM .  THIER LOVE MESSAGE IS HATE .   LOVE has been turned into hate ,  and hate into a false love .

The apostacy is really ripening in all out evil now .   We got a whole world wide message that is accepting sins and other religions as valid , and all about UNITY for WORLD PEACE .

This will lead to the end .    An all inclusive world in agreement with an all inclusive mindset or religion ,   WILL deeply hate any who are not all inclusive and all accepting .

WE are being headed RIGHT to the climax .   And so few can see this .   Just more and more run to this unity , run to this false love , run to this entity

of an all inclusive god .    ONLY ITS NOT GOD .   ITS the SPIRIT of total darkness simply portraying itself as the greatest light .

The spirit behind this ,  CAN APPEAR as an angel of LIGHT but it is total darkness .  IT knows how to allure through the flesh , through a false sensual all accepting love .
