I’ve had some lustful thoughts today. As a married man, that makes me no better than adulterer. So we are both in the same miserable boat.So what the heck are we going to do about this dilemma? I can tell you what I am going to do.I am going to do the same thing with my sins that God does— put it on the Cross and leave it there. Then I will thank Him for His Grace and move on , trusting Him to “ finish the good work He started”.We started this Christian walk by faith.... we end it the same way.If we continue to practice faith, he will take care of the sin part....changing us from the inside out, transforming us into the image of His Son.Smoking can be a slow- motion form of suicide. We pay for our sins in this lifetime and your health is going to suffer for this sin.It has NO affect on your Salvation. If you believe the Gospel Of 1cor15:1-4 you are under the Blood— ALL of your sins are forgiven .They say if you give up cigarettes ,two years later you can be nearly normal again as far as lung damage is concerned. Good luck and God Bless. 4

My cousin, a lifelong smoker got emphasema from it and needed oxygen, and died recently from it. I hear the lungs start to clean themselves out in about three months once you stop the cigarettes. 3

Many people smoke because it relieves their anxiety. It is not a habit it is an addiction and yes it is a sin. It is best to not have any addictions. Alcohol, nicotine and caffeine are all drugs. All of these drugs have a potential to be addicting. Do not let anyone point their finger at you who consume any alcohol or drink coffee or drink soda pop with caffeine or consume chocolate because that is being a hypocrite because not only is smoking cigarettes a sin so is consuming any kind of alcohol or consuming anything with caffeine such as I mentioned above. I put the patch on Any addiction is sin and as long as we live in this earthly body we will have to deal with sin as only God is sinless, how more you yield to Him ,how more you want to do the things which are pleasing to Him, I remembered the big struggle with smoking after I became saved and the Lord delivered me off the cigarettes in His time, pray and trust God in this issue,is anything to big for God?Draw near to God and He will draw bear to you
