True archaeology is about discovery, not about making things happen. It sounds like he is looking to force something. God wont be forced either.

I thought he was jewish??

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

No, he is not, in fact he is an X-Christian pastor who is now a leader in the Noachide movement. But his daughter converted to Judaism so that may be where you got that from. :whistling:

That is Speilbergs interpretation, however he should be careful, I don't believe he is Jewish, let alone Cohanim so he could most likely be struck dead.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Why would He be stricken dead? Does God still abide in the ark? And Even if God still does, Jew or gentile would be stricken dead for touching it, remember the Jewish man who was carrying the ark across the river, he caught the ark and was stricken dead, so i don't believe its a Jew/Gentile thing If He still abides in the ark. :whistling:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Because that is the law. And yes, you are half correct, gentiles definately would be struck dead, and Jews, if you are talking in the strictest sense would also, but not cohanim, the priests for they were the only ones allowed to touch it.

The man you are referring to in Kind Davids time ( and he couldn't touch it either  ) was Uzzah, and although it seems he was trying to help by keeping the ark from touching the ground he still shoudn't have because he was still not to touch the ark. It shouldn't have been on a cart in the first place, nor exposed, it was to be carried on the shoulders of the priests under coverings. No one was to touch it directly, not even the cohen HaGadol ( the High Priest), the closest he got was on Yom Kippur when he sprinkled blood upon the seat.

It is a great lesson on how when we think in our our thoughts that we are doing good, or right for the L-RD when in fact we aren't.

My ways are highter than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts ~Proverbs 55:9

He is a HOLY G-d and has specific rules about how to come before him and how to do certain things, we make olurselves equal to him or try to rise above when we think up our own ways and then compound it by saying "I don't think he cares, or minds". See it was excusable by G-d for the heathen Philistines to do this for they had no love nore respect for the one true G-d, but for his own people who knew him and said they loved him to treat the ark the same, was not acceptable.

I believe that still holds true today.

Given that Jesus lived, died, and was resurrected, the Holy Spirit is with us, and the temple veil torn.....

Of what use is the ark anymore? Does it really matter if it is found? As a relic, it could "prove" things, but to those who demand proof, no proof is enough anyway.

True archaeology is about discovery, not about making things happen. It sounds like he is looking to force something. God wont be forced either.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Is that all it is to you , a relic? Do you not know that it is an exact replica of that which is in heaven where your sins come up before the L-RD? That is is the throne of G-d? Not just a mere relic. :whistling:

He cannot do anything that the L-RD hasn't allowed and doesn't want to happen. Did you not read the verses in Amos?

9:11 Interesting

9:11

In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

9:12

That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.

The Ark is lost. I presume lost for a reason. I see the Lord as holy. I do not see objects on earth as holy. It may be a replica of heavenly things, but it is still a replica and since Jesus came, does it have meaning to us now? Im sorry if I disappoint you Zayit.

Along with the staff of aaron, manna and some other religious things the ten commandments were inside the mercy seat yes.

The thing about all this is that it's going to be no walk in the park, The opposite is true, it's going to be very hard, the news article had an innacurate date. He doesn'the will find it by august 14, instead he thinks it would be appropriate if it was found by then.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
