Luke 12:51 (KJV) Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:  52.  For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three. 53.  The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. 

As Jesus Himself sated above, He came to divide. Perhaps I shouldn't get so personal but, its become a part of my testimony. I won't go into detail but, suffice it to say I'm unequally yoked in my 40 year marriage. My own children don't understand my change; from beer drinking fun dad, to Bible believing church member going Dad.

2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV) Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

More or less the same situation, circumstances and outcome of the OP'S thread. I repented of my life, confessed my sins and asked the Lord Jesus into my life to be my Lord and Savior, my wife will not. I'd say it causes some friction, jealousy, resentment, change of allegiance  among other things. One has to make a choice whom he or she will serve, and that choice has eternal consequences and rewards or lack there of. 

With love, patience, prayer and by being an example and ambassador for Christ, I hope to win them over to the Lord. I'm sure Laura Ingraham's circumstances she's facing and situation is worse. We watch her all the time on Fox, she's a sweet young lady.

As I mentioned, we watch Fox all the time. I randomly ran across a Youtube video I watched when scanning Christian videos. I didn't realize Sean Hannity is also a professing Christian. Wonderful!

her brother also stated in the article that it is Laura Ingraham's punditry that is (at least partially responsible) in destroying their relationship.

i find this article very sad because i have read this old article once, apparently just like Curtis Ingraham said, he and Laura were very close. Laura even moved in with Curtis back in the nineties when Curtis's then partner were dying of AIDS to offer support.

disclaimer! i am not saying i agree or disagree with positions Laura Ingraham take, i don't really watch her show, but i just find it very sad that our current climate is so polarised, and getting more so by the day, is reflecting in people's relationships, even close ones.

Bible Predicts this will occur in Luke 21, and Matthew 24.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. Matthew 24:9-12

It is only going to get worse, Luke adds: But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake.(Luke 21:12)

The Laws are already on the books where children can be taken away from parents if they refuse to let their child explore gender ambiguity, They are also trying to make it a hate crime to use wrong gender pronouns....

Canada passed a law Thursday making it illegal to use the wrong gender pronouns. Critics say that Canadians who do not subscribe to progressive gender theory could be accused of hate crimes, jailed, fined, and made to take anti-bias training.

Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death.  You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved.

Had you announced that there would have been a gender identity crisis, labeling, child rights, gender pronoun correction and penalties, and on and on; 20, 40 years ago, you'd have been laughed at and ridiculed in no uncertain terms. SURPRISE! If the Lord tarries, where will we be in 5, 10 years at this rate?

I've always wondered how all this could come about through most of my lifetime. The norm use to be families were respectful of one another, tight, loving, loyal, obedient and a family unit. Do we see any changes from when us old fogies were growing up; any modern day indicators this is shaping up? You bet we do... Just a few indicators I see.

Human trafficking, abortion by the millions [loss of natural affection], parents selling their own children; large segments of the population doing anything and everything for drug money... About half of all homes are single parent and the mother head of household. Many of those illegitimate children run wild in the streets, are gang-banger's and disrespect their mothers and could care less.

I suspect the main cause will be brainwashing. Much like the Hitler propaganda where children were brainwashed and turned in any family member in suspected of not being loyal to Hitler; but on steroids. The vast majority of the globe today has been indoctrinated and brainwashed to favor socialism and communism, as we're seeing it globally and the democrat's / liberals are assembling the bee hive. There's a battle going on between good and evil, right and wrong, like I've never seen in my 67 years on this earth.

Sadly Dennis, thirty five years ago we, wife and I, were aware of what was going on in the government run public schools.
Would bring data to show church members proof; and guesswhat happened,

Was told doesn't happen, I was just a paranoid. This is also when sex ed was forced on the school students. Bananas for props.
And no, I would not even have imagined what is going on now. People simply just do not want to know,
do not want to believe what is happening. That's called denial.
It is getting difficult explaining this to my grand kids, who are just starting out in life, full of hopes and dreams.
But it's the truth that will set us free. However,
God still is on the throne.

You're exactly right, they have an entitlement mentality; it's not fair the haves worked for what they don't have and are entitled to a share in it. Everything should be free including freedom, to do what they want.

But anyway; we see the exponential escalation of these morbid attitudes, laws and actions explode in the last ten years or so. If you were to take a guess based on what's happened in just the last ten years; where do you suppose the world will be in just ten more years?

Based on your ending above, it reminds me of the closing of Noah Hutchings Southwest Radio Ministries program, a long time ago when I was able to pick up the radio station.  Ever heard of him?

Only about a bazillion times! Working construction sites, I listened to him on AM radio station 1100, KDRY, every day!

KDRY AM 1100 is San Antonio’s First Christian radio station. It has been family owned and operated since 1963, and is currently on its third generation of ownership.

I listened to Noah Hutchings for many many a year, and learned a lot about prophesy.
So many  of the old time air wave preachers have been taken home, like J. Vernon Mcgee also.

You ask "Ever heard of him?"
Any time I heard "God is still on the throne and prayer changes things.", Mr. Hutchins was soon to follow

PS: I learned he was a combat veteran and served in WWII with General Douglas MacArthur. cool, huh.....
