Rub a dub dub three men in a tub

Those that encourage just might come to mind in threes; I know three that encourage me  to this day, one ministers to  the Greek communities, one to the Jewish communities, and one ministers to all that will hear and heed, but spent most of his life ministering to Muslims at Iran.

Sometimes the fruit of similar witnessing comes together in threes as well, even in  water baptism and accompanying testimony of faith in Jesus as Lord, God, and personal savior. It happened at a nondescript church in an average and nondescript American town that three men of the twelve men and women being baptized that night spoke their testimony back to back to back. The first born at Egypt a Muslim that turned about to Christ Jesus, then a Jew born at Israel who had turned about to Christ Jesus, and the third a local from our Greek community but born at Greece who had turned about to Christ Jesus. Each presenting in repentant manner testimony of being called to their individual salvation through Jesus by way  of the Holy Spirit; back to back to back testimonies were given, from a Greek, a  Jew, and a Muslim. None born locally,  but each brought to this rather ordinary place by the providential leading by God.  Each were turned about by God's specific calling to each of them through God the Holy Spirit to their turning about to Jesus who is God, as their individual and personal savior.

It has been an encouraging moment from within my memory bank for several years now. God's sovereignty is total, unlimited, He makes all that happens work together for good for those that believe of Jesus as Lord, God, and personal savior.

@marvelloustime :amen:Absolutely! Nobody even comes close to Him.

:emot-nod: I can relate. Our mothers left a profound impact on our lives.

I'd like to share a poem I wrote in honor of mine on 5-12-19.

This poem is a tribute to my beloved mother who died on February 27th.

My Mother's Legacy

First mother's Day without my mom

Is rather sad and hard

This year I can not call her up

Or even send a card

There's so much love inside of me

I feel I must address it

And so for me to write a poem

Is one way to express it

My mother was the kindest soul

She loved to give and share

So sensitive to everyone

And always there with prayer

She shone so bright for Jesus

In the things she'd do and say

Reflecting Him to others

In a clear and gentle way

Whenever I was sick or down

Or simply felt alone

She always had the words I'd need

And such a tender tone

Her faith was so enduring

It would rise above my fear

Her voice, her laugh, her wisdom

Are the memories I hold dear

Her heart for Christ, her love for me

And all our family...

These things I'll always treasure

They're my mother's legacy

Wonderful tribute to your mum. A lovely poem Turtletwo. Xxx

On missing my buddy.

My friend knew my Lord and savior Jesus. He shared his testimony and he suffered so greatly, yet hung on. Seemed like he would never get  break, yet he hung on. He and I would talk a couple times a week especially when he was so sick and well just beat up, his body a mess. He hung on and shared with me of our Lord even in the most dire of times. Then near death he got "his" break, and immediately shared it with all that he knew were in need, many that had even mocked him during his own harsh suffering. He gave out of love of Jesus as he gave out his last moments in the flesh.

 I miss my buddy.

nuggets of hope is such a wonderful title dear sister .

A sister in the Lord brings great comfort to the hearts of true beleivers .

She points to JESUS in all her poems and always brings scriptures in all her threads .

And though her body suffers ,  she has been such a great comfort to my soul , for that she always points to JESUS

and that always rejoices my soul .

This sister is not well known by many , but she sure is known to me and more so , TO THE LORD .

The LORD knows why we do as we do .    And when one honors HIM in all they do and poem ,  HE KNOWS IT

and it rejoices the hearts of those who Do love JESUS .

SO I will make my own personal to poem to this largely unknown sister .

OH a sister I know who praises the King

in all that she says , or poems she does sing

And points to the LORD , JESUS CHRIST our hope

JESUS CHRIST Whose blood cleanses us cleaner  than the fullers soap .

Yes I know a dear sister who cheers up my heart

She sure is not famous , oh but she does faithfully her part

As she poems and writes and speaks of JESUS

and how this does make happy the heart and does please us

OH my sister is loved and her name may be hid as a riddle

But I know who she  is and I call her dear swidl .

AND THE LORD KNOWS TOO .

Hands up my dear sister ,   you are LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVED .

Corrie Ten Boom was such a lovely lady! Thinking about her brings a smile to my face. She and her family rescued many Jews during the Holocaust. The price for this was the Concentration Camp. Her father was killed. Some of you may remember the book (and movie) "The Hiding Place." If Corrie were still here, I'd love to personally thank her. I'm sure you who know of her feel the same.

There are many wonderful quotes by her.  Here are a few I'd like to share with you. Enjoy.:)

  1. It is not my ability, but my response to God’s ability, that counts.-Corrie Ten Boom
  2. You may never know that JESUS is all you need, until JESUS is all you have.-Corrie Ten Boom

I love Corrie and Besty her sister. I read the hiding place at least five times. That's one family I want to meet when Jesus returns to earth.

I enjoy listening to the Ted and Austin Broer podcast hourly show several times a week. It's a great way to blow off steam and an opportunity to laugh at the farcical and clown like nature of what's going on all around us in this three ring circus we call the multicultural west.

Ted Broer in particular loves to rant for 10, 15, 20 minutes at a time, screaming at the top of his lungs about the insane transsexuals, homosexuals and homicidal maniacs in politics and media. It's hilarious because almost all of it is true.

The podcast is also an amazing source of tabloid gossip about televangelist and mega-church scammers. It is so funny! Ted Broer actually knows almost all of them personally, so it's particularly entertaining because he is privy to the exact details of their lives and how hypocritical and debased all of them are.

Sadly, he encourages us all to donate to our local churches instead of the national and internal mega-church scammers. He seems not to be aware of how deeply socialists and the communist left have infiltrated EVERY SINGLE LOCAL CHURCH in or near any major metropolitan area, and on both coasts, and probably in the midwest as well. Possibly the Deep South or some of the more rural sections of the US are immune, then again, maybe not. Many small towns are being targeted as host populations for Somali and Syrian refugee re-location. This means states like West Virginia and Idaho.

My sense is that the collapse is inevitable. I could be wrong and I hope I'm wrong.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
