Drugs is only a minor part of what the cartels do. I hear about drug arrests frequently, and large drug busts as well. What do you think should be done about the drug problems in your area? That said, I don’t like the Church getting involved in political issues because Christians as a whole have been used and exploited to get votes for those seeking power. If that church truly cares about the issue, then I hope they are sending resources to those whom they believe are unfairly locked in cages, versus just putting on a display. If you run water in a bathtub it smells like a swimming pool.
