Its more important and far above even that .   IF we do not forgive men their trespasses  , GOD WILL NOT FORGIVE OURS .

But again ,   What I said earlier stands TRUE .  this was all done dead wrong .  dead wrong .   and do I mean dead wrong .

I can whiff the false from the true , and what they did , was all errnouneous .

NOW pray for that man ,  pray for his soul , pray he repents .  In this life we reap what we sow ,  BUT at least if one TRULY repents as did KING david ,  Well

no matter what price they have to pay ,  THEY STILL can abound and rejoice in the LORD .

This ought never to have been done the way it was done and aired for all the world to see and then cheerleading a man .

Should have been done in private and sharp rebukes should have been given to that man .  The church they attend should have kept it at their level .And

in no way  should this have become a giant camp of cheerleaders  .   IT was done DEAD WRONG .    IT WAS TRULY DONE DEAD WRONG .

Just ponder and pray about it .

Of course it was handled in wrong fashion.

Its the way it all went down .    They praised this man , yet he had committed adultery .

While we do and are to forgive , this whole thing is manipulated .

I cant even imagine paul standing before a church and the church praising the one who erred , because he took it before all .

I didn’t have time to read through the entire thread yet , but just wanted to mention that they”praised” him on several occasions. They held a the church event which ended up in the paper. They held a retreat where they brought him on stage and said we all have secrets, and then they held a surprise party for him when he got out of rehab.

Those celebrations were not in response to one incident but several.

I don’t know if anyone has heard of the “Love  and Respect Marriage” best selling  Christian Book? Well, the author of that book holds rallies about Christian marriage all over the country and this guy that cheats on his wife sponsors those events. That is partly why they are celebrating him to save his reputation. But I think it hurts the church as a whole, not just the married couple involved.

My question is...how do we know God chose that spouse for them?

God was and is sovereign over all matters, even poor marriage selections. If God has ( and He has) foreknown and predestined all those He has given to his Son to shepherd, did He know and do only pertaining to after one turns to Jesus by the specific call of the Holy Spirit?  I think the answer is God not only knew he predetermined all the events of life of each of us.  Has He foreknown and predetermined only what I may see as the good that has happened to me?

I think of Job, I think of Paul, and how they counted all the events of their life.

But, but, what  of "true" obedience and "true" repentance? "Truly" they must require some adverb-age also?  :)

A believer is just that, a believer. A believer can be just as quick to fail and any "true" sinner.

A"true" sinner?  Do others  that are not true sinners just look like sin?

Thought maybe I should go back to the thread subject since I have kinda hijacked it for a few posts. So I read it again.

Perhaps the sin here is the thread itself. To be bringing this topic and it's details to total strangers on the internet, seems to serve no good purpose, and is more of a rather idle  entertainment with a possible additional humiliation to a woman, her husband, and an entire church. To what good purpose?

Sorry that I have participated in it at all. I should have known better, Fact I do know better but fell into it anyway.  I am personally ashamed to have participated in it or to have even read any post past half way through the first one. Shame on me.

Please don’t feel like the thread was posted for entertainment. First, they placed themselves on YouTube, in the press  and have been acknowledged in Christian Books for years.

As I said before, I know them personally and have been part of the pain. I was genuinely looking for feedback. When you have not only a church(they called the press to that church, and the pastor from the Charleston shooting was there and he is somewhat of  a celebrity now) but different Christian groups praising them, I think it affects everyone. They are trying to change the face of Christianity. Creating a faith where anyone can do anything and those that judge are “ throwing stones.”

It is not entertainment, and although the wife and children all the most harmed when adultery occurs, lots of other people feel betrayed, hurt and are sometimes   under threat for not keeping heir mouths shut.

But I guess you need someone to pick on, so go ahead and pick on me for posting it.

It’s interesting. This it’s exactly what they said when the man was exposed. It was turned around on the person doing the exposing. The “snitch” or the “rat” that brings to light wrong doing. Because the worse thing you can do is not cheat on your wife or commit other sins and crimes, but tell  that someone did those things. Straight out of Mafia culture. Not surprised to see the thread end this way.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
