I would argue with your premise - I think repenting is what keeps us out of hell.

I still disagree that a repentant person goes to hell.

Repentance is something we do. Salvation is the ‘Gift’ of Life. Born again.

Interesting. You make a valid point depending on whether the repentance is the right variety as per 2Co 7:10
(10)  For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world works death.

Not all repentance leads to salvation. The world repents of its failures time and time again with all sorts of pagan rites and rituals. In my formative years I regularly attended the Anglican liturgy, reciting the obligatory Creed, Lord's Prayer and General Confession, all of which are extremely meaningful to the die-hard adherents of this sect and tradition, but for me it was an illusion. Although I tried as hard as I could to mean the words of the Confession, without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit to abide in Christ the following words were only the sorrow of the world...

Quote

From my 11th birthday present in 1965, being one Church of England Book of Common Prayer, referring to The Order of the Administration of the Lord's Supper, or HOLY COMMUNION: [as written]

"Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Maker of all things, Judge of all men; We acknowledge and bewail our manifold sins and wickedness, Which we from time, most grievously have committed, By thought, word, and deed, Against thy Divine Majesty, Provoking most justly thy wrath and indignation against us. We do earnestly repent and are heartily sorry for these our misdoings; The remembrance of them is grievous unto us; The burden of them is intolerable. Have mercy upon us, Have mercy upon us, most merciful Father; For thy Son our Lord Jesus Christ's sake, Forgive us all that is past; And grant that we may ever hereafter Serve and please thee In newness of life, To the honour and glory of thy Name, Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen."

The Lord's forgiveness is a gift. And then we repent.

Actually, yes because our forgiveness was purchased by Christ at His Crucifixion.

(3)  For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

I keep reading about how if anyone falls away from the faith and from doing God's Will, they are branded as never being saved in the first place .. I see that as arrogant and pompous of those who think they are the born again saved ones only .. in latter days, many will depart from the faith but such is not possible unless they were part of the faith as one cannot depart from that which one never belonged to .. also, in the lake of fire will be idolaters, adulterers, sexually immoral, etcetra ... and they are branded as the unsaved, too .. on the one hand, many bible passages point to the fact that if one believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, one has eternal life but then, if that one falls away, he/she is branded as having never been saved .. you can't have it both ways .. either the believer was saved or Jesus lied when He said those who believe in Him have eternal life .. as I have repeatedly said, the lake of fire cites those in it .. first is Satan and his fallen angel demons .. second is unbelievers .. third is idolaters, adulterers, sexually immoral, etcetra ... - so, it is obvious about Satan and his demons .. it should, also, be obvious about the unbelievers cited - they are there only for never believing and any sins they committed are irrelevant in that they did not believe so, of course, would not obey God .. sooooooooo, the third group in which so many types of sinners are mentioned must be once born again saved believers who at some point for whatever reason chose to leave God and go their own way doing their own sinful will and never return to God with a changed heart to do His Will, not theirs .. anyway, all those cited sinners "were born again saved" ones who left of their own accord and never returned and three or more passages list them as ones who will never enter the Kingdom of Heaven, so they are unrepentant born again saved persons who threw away their salvation  .. had they repented, they would be in heave for eternity .. thus proving, too, that there will be NO UNREPENTANT SINNERS in Heaven, only REPENTANT ONES .. it is a copout for those claiming to be born again saved to brand those who do not fit into being unbelievers to being "unsaved" .. I really do think those claiming to be born again saved need to take a closer look at what that "really" means as I think most are on the wrong track

“Though we be unfaithful, HE REMAINS FAITHFUL ....He continues in His faithfulness, for He cannot renounce himself....”

A True, Born-Again Believer can fall into error, they can come to believe a lie, they are capable of tremendous stupidity and they can succumb to cowardice, as did Peter when he denied even “ knowing Christ” three times.Peter denied Jesus three times, but did Jesus deny Peter? Of course not.Satan can “ shipwreck” our Faith , But God’s Promises are impossible to shipwreck. He will fulfill them - despite our weaknesses and stupidity. If you ever Once In your life “ came to Him through Faith in His Son” —- HE is the One that made the Promise to “ save to the UTTERMOST” Do you think for a second that God could not look ahead and see how His Children could and would fail him , when He made these Promises? God made the Promises— the Onus is now on Him. He knows how to handle it.Grace sure isn’t fair , is it? That’s the Best News ever for weak, stupid sheep. Like you.It goes double for me.

Yes, Jesus has done everything required to procure salvation for all...

1Pe 1:1-5
(1)  Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
(2)  Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
(3)  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy has begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
(4)  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fades not away, reserved in heaven for you,
(5)  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

… so who is the problem with then???

How nice that would be if you only had Chapter and Verse to support it.Unfortunately, you don’t and never will. I got my Chapter and verse that proves this is a False Doctrine .Accursed. Damned by God.God help those who preach it . Read the Book of Galations and then tell me where I am wrong.....it’s only six chapters....

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
