Amen!

I haven't always been willing (mental illness is fickle) but the Lord is faithful to continue the work He started because I'm in Him now. How easy it is to forget that Jesus Christ loved us first...

… to lose sight of the fact that the Lord chose us before we chose Him.
… to overlook how the Son of God was moved for our sake before we believed in Him. I was an atheist when Almighty God spared me!

I'm reminded of these every day. Whenever I find myself lost in that twisted version of the world provided by depression (depression started yesterday) --- and I'm afraid for my soul, the Lord hears and leads me out of delusion. Every time Christ does this something changes and I become stronger... more confident in the Lord... and my faith grows just a little larger.

This is my reward in these dark times: instead of withering away to the curse the Lord saw fit to raise me up from the dust and breathe upon me, sending His Spirit to dwell with me always. God's Spirit is faithful to conform me to the image of the Son in whom we have eternal life even when I'm to weak to stand... or believe that all is lost. :)

Dear brother, ...do see how valuable you are here at Worthy?

Did you consult a psychiatrist, did you take any drugs he prescribed for you?

No, why not?  ...because you are "His" child, ...because He is now your Heavenly Father, ...He is "responsible" for you, ...He stooped down from Heaven and touched you in your infirmity..., and the more you "see" Him working in your life the more you learn this reality, ...I am my Beloved's, and my Beloved is mine: He feedeth among the lilies. Song 6:3

He is "continually" feeding among the lilies, ...24/7, ...this phrase is comprised of only two words in the Hebrew, feeding and lilies, ...what that is saying to us is our Beloved (Jesus) is; to be at pasture, tending to, grazing on, feeding on; ...our lilies of our joy, our rejoicing, our cheerfulness!

Imagine that..., God "actually" receiving something from us, ...not that He needs it, ...but because He loves us so much He wants to "spend" time with us, ....and on the seventh day God rested from all of His work, ...Adams "second" day was spent in communion with God and then we are told God came to Adam in his "fallen" state in the "cool" of the evening, ...when it was "comfortable" for him, ...can you see bro, ...how that "connects" the dots with this verse?  Isa 28:10

It's no accident He has placed you "feeding" goats, ...you "know" this principle from first hand experience...

Now let's look at verse two:

My Beloved is gone down into His garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies.

Is that not "exactly" what He has done in your life, ...He came to you first, ...a very important lesson to learn dear brother, ...our Beloved is always the "Initiator" and we are the respondents.

I'll leave verse two for you to study and do a word search on the meanings of the words, ...the spiritual principals, ...especially the Hebrew word "beds," ...I'm sure it will give you much comfort.

...the just shall live by his faith. Hab 2:4

May the Lord richly bless you this Sunday as He is "feeding" on your joy...

I have been seeking the Lord for a breakthrough from this sin that dwells in me. I know that only the Law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus can set me free from the Law of sin and death which is in me.

This is the answer I 've got You can't get a breakthrough without prayer and fasting. Prayer and fasting helps you connect with the power of God and brings you into your destiny. This kind does not come out except by prayer and fasting. Jesus was saying, this power comes from living a lifestyle of prayer and fasting.

The early church fasted every week. John Westly fasted 2 days every week as a lifestyle. Daniel because of his commitment to living a lifestyle of prayer and fasting, the anoiting on his life was 10 times greater than his peers.

Mathew 6-giving praying and fasting. These principles have been these for centuries. You can't get any breakthrough from the sin that dwelleth in me without living a lifestyle of prayer and fasting every week and also corporate fasting as a church for an extended season.

Hi Worship Warrior, I, as I’m sure you know, bear witness with your love and your living relationship with Christ. I say living, because that is what I sense in you. If you would be so kind as to give ear and than take what I write before God and question Him concerning the things I write, I think, feel, believe and am convinced, you will be most blessed in your heart, that you will leap for joy, which will be a continual leaping. Please give ear and heart, thanks.....

The sin that dwells in you can not be overcome by any strength of will, no amount of prayer and or fasting will work. (prayer, fasting, seeking God are all necessary works to grow you closer to God, as you know and wrote about and as your heart has taught you. But are of themselves inadequate for the task).

Faith is what is required,  a knowing and seeing what our salvation in Christ consists of, a simple taking God at His word.

But this faith will not be a pure faith and hope in His Divine operation in us, until all hope is gone in one’s own ability to secure their salvation themselves...

Death is what is necessary to free one from the sin that dwells in them. For nothing else is proposed to man as our salvation, but the being joined with Christ in His death. But having faith in Him alone, and not a mixture of some faith in Him, and some hope in one’s own self to help God out, because we believe we are supposed to try. It is this trying that is a work of the self-life in us, it is this  that keeps us back from this being made free from the sin that dwells in us. This trying is the self life at work in us and will continue to try till it is brought to the end of itself...When it sees all its own efforts to overcome this sin that dwells in them is useless. It is when a person sees that the only way for them to be freed from their sin is to be freed from themselves, both being the same thing. It is when a person/believer truly sees that it is better to really and truly die, than it is to sin, than will the believer stop having faith in their this, and their that, then will they put all their faith in God, to really and truly, in real time, cause them to walk in His statutes and keep them. This is the only thing/faith that will continually overcome the self life in us, which is that that needs to be done away with, so we can continually walk in this newness of life scripture speaks of.

With all humility of heart, I ask you to go back and read my prior  threads concerning the self life and dying to self. For in them, in all humility, is the path that God has led me and showed me how to be free from me. This is that that all Christians need to see inwardly to be freed from the sin that dwells in them.

With all humility of heart I write these words before God and hope and pray they bring life, light, and growth to the hearts of all that read them......If, for whatever reason you don’t bear witness with them, please forget and forgive them, as your personal relationship with Christ teaches and leads you. For it is your personal relationship with Christ, that is of first importance in your life, which relationship will teach you all things.

(Please forgive the boldness)

Amen......I have been fasting and praying for weeks now......I have recieved that breakthrough....but must say...the praying and fasting has been constant.......I have also been listening to gospel music 24/7.....on saying that,it was God who got me to that place....not myself.4.536 kilograms in weight I have lost, through fasting.

Man is enslaved in sin. Only the power of God can free him. Fasting and prayer position our hearts to receive more of God. Then the Father who also sees in secret rewards us with more of Himself and breakthrough .

I am seeking the Lord for more grace to be extravagant in living the sermon of the mount lifestyle of  giving prayer and fasting . I love giving and praying .But I do find it harder to fast as a lifestyle.

At the moment,  the hunger for more of God is greater than  the food . Its a matter of entering into the joy of fasting like I do enjoy praying and giving.

And "that" beloved brother is "why" you are so valuable here at Worthy, ...when a child of God "can" write about their "problems" and show others how it was absolutely "nothing" in/of themselves, ..."only" their Lord's intervention, ...that is the language of the heart, ...that is what speaks to those listening giving them "faith" in the personal, living God:

For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. Rom 1:17

O wretched man that I am, who shall save me from this body of death?!

I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Romans 7:24-25

But there is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Romans 8:1

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2

Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.

For if ye live after the flesh you shall die, but if you through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the flesh you shall live.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.

For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but ye have received the Spirit of adoption whereby we cry Abba, Father (Daddy)

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

For He who began a good work in you, will complete it, until the day of Christ.

So true;

This “led by” is where, I believe, the teaching of God to the individual heart, is of such great importance. Which teaching, all comes through and by this personal relationship with Him that is growing and forming itself in us....So than that the “sons” part might come in, where we might be able to add the words, full grown sons.

To the Praise of His Glory.

To the Praise of His Glory.

To the forming and growing of Him in us, Not me

Each and every one of us are "Ambassadors" for Jesus Christ, ...at first, ...when we are given this "privilege," we are faithful and go around non stop telling everyone the "Good News" (Gospel) we have "received" in the hope they will believe and receive this gift too..., it's so awesome, ...so fantastic, ...so, so wonderful..., so unexplainable, ...all we know is, ....we "got" it!

We were lost, blind, confused, ...our lives were like a steel ball in a pinball machine, being hit by some whim of our imagination, hurriedly speeding off in this direction, and then hit with another whim and being "propelled" in another and another and another, ...some unknown force constantly pulling us down, ...never able to "remain" on top until finally one day we fall through the hole, our first thought is we lost, ...but then we realize we have "fallen" into the arms of Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord.

Now that's really Good News!!!

We aren't losers, we are winners!!!

Now the time has come to be fed, ...taught the Word of God, by a faithful under-shepards, ...but how many of us were not taught by a "faithful" under-shepard, and he allowed us, encouraged us to "climb" out of the arms of Jesus that held us so secure and safe and to start all over this "new life," trying to "be" like the pinball we were before?

That's why we, who have been "taught" by the Holy Spirit, through His "faithful" to the Word pastors, must proclaim the "Good News" to our brothers and sisters in Christ,

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Rom 8:14

...we are not pinballs being bounced around by every "wind" of doctrine that blows over this planet, ...we are "Ambassadors" of/for the Kingdom of God and as Ambassadors we "go" where our King tells us to go, ...how do we know which direction?

Your Word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path. Psa 119:105

The Holy Spirit is "leading" us, it's metaphorically explained to us, ...an "illustration" for us to "see" in the OT, ...in Father's order there is night and then there is day, ...we are "led" through the "darkness" all around us by a Pillar of Fire, warning the enemy, ...One much Greater than he, ...He is the One protecting, guiding and leading us, ...and night always gives way to the day, ...when we are "covered" by a Cloud that protects us so that we are cool, refreshed and comfortable in our journey, ...still being protected, guided and being "led" by the Holy Spirit.

So that, as His "Ambassadors," we can accomplish what we have been "chosen" for, ...that is, "proclaim" the "Good News" to the other pinballs!

The Holy Spirit is telling the lost world, ...you see those Jesus freaks, ...those are My children!

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Rom 8:14

And to His Church, in His Fatherly Love, ...He is saying, ...My children, there is a "better" way, ...let Me  perform My job to protect, guide and direct your lives, ...as I'm conforming you into the "image" of  your, King and Lord, ...Jesus Christ, ...God Almighty, ...El Shaddai...

Lord bless

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
