Rely on the Holy Spirit to help you in witnessing. Whenever I witness I pray that the Lord give me the words and open them up to gospel message. If I had to rely on myself alone, then no one would hear my words.

As far as being ready, its just a continual walk with the Lord, in growing in faith.

I think dealing with holy spirit comes in baptism, the author of the thread seemed that he hasn't baptism yet.

The minute you become a believer in Christ, you will be sealed with the  Holy Spirit :)

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,Eph.1:13

i have zero ability to share the gospel as i am only now learning what the actual good news is can you believe that! i have been so blinded and for so long.

That very confession is a mighty strong testimony for any witness to be sharing. Might just  start right there, almost verbatim, with that inviting question included, "can you believe that?".

I once heard a pastor say to a person, with the same questions as you are asking...

He said to the effect of this...the quality is in the seed, yes they are farmers of different skill levels who know exactly how to sow the seeds at what time and when and how they should be sown, and if the ground is worthy to take the seed, But if you have the true seed of Salvation, a person can even sloppily and carlessly just start tossing it around and it may not hit the correct ground in the correct ways as much as the hand of the skilled farmer, but some of those seeds you have sown will end up in the correct ground and take root,....

and remember He has you right where He wants you right now! And you can just keep your faith that the seed that has taken root in you will continue to grow and become more hardy, and start to branch off into great insights one day,as it is fed.. and hunt for Wisdom Knowledgde and understanding as Hid treasure in His Word and Thru His Spirit.

Have a awesome Journey!

Hi Ahmed,

The Holy Ghost coming upon you when you are saved is the peace that comes knowing the burden of your sin is lifted off of your shoulders and forgiven by the Blood of Jesus at the Cross. This is why the Dove is associated with the Holy Ghost, and with peace in our world. Have You felt this Peace, when you were saved? If Yes, then the Holy Ghost is in you.

As You walk in faith He will guide you and convict you and sanctify you, cleanse you from the inside out, Not just forced obedience to a law but obedience that springs from the heart. He enables us to love as Christ Loved us, and that is with Agape Love, as opposed to the love that needs something in return.

After You have been saved for some time, the Holy Ghost will come upon you in Power and give you gifts that you can serve God. For some Christians this comes at Baptism, for some it is seen as a separate baptism of the Holy Spirit. Baptism is just an outward sign of an inner conviction, a time when you are pronouncing to others your faith In the death burial and resurrection of Christ. Coming from a Muslim background this may be a hard thing for you to do, I do not know your situation per se, But do not think you do not have the Holy Ghost if you have not been baptized, or that you must be baptized to go to heaven.

God Bless

In first time I prayed, I felt something good in my heart but next times, something prevented the same feelings, and when I was active in reading Gospel, something prevented me for that I take 2 days or three days until I decide to read Gospel again.

That is the Devil Trying to rob you of Your Joy In Christ Jesus. As soon as you Believe Jesus, the Devil will come in and say you are not worthy, all you need to do is remind him that I am forgiven by the Blood of Jesus and he will go away, as he cannot cross that blood, there is power in the blood as the old Hymn says. All new Christians have these doubts, and they will even beat themselves up because of feeling unworthy, that is because We are saved by Grace, Not by our worthiness. Grace from God is not deserved... You need to learn how to trust in His Grace. The devil wants to make you feel unclean, remember always you are clean by the blood of Jesus. When You understand this, the Gospels and the Holy Ghost will explain this better to you. Start with the Gospel of John, and read the first three chapters. Pray for the Holy Ghost to teach you as you read.

God bless.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
