Here is just a few verses to from acts to show Paul's Torah observance, so anyone can learn how to better understand, how to read his letters,  as he also taught all of his teachings align with his lifestyle and wanted people to act as he acts and do as he does..

Acts 21:24 “Take, the vow thyself with them, and bear the expense for them, that they may shave Their heads: and all may know that those things, whereof they were informed concerning thee, are nothing; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, and KEEPEST(TORAH) THE LAW"-HNB  also note: in vs.26 Paul even gave a offering/sacrifice in the Temple, after resurrection, if he had felt something was wrong with this we can rest assured he would not have done it!

Acts 23:6 “But when Saul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.
8. For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither Angel, nor spirit: But the Pharisees confess both. 9. And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees part arose, and strove, saying, we find no evil in this man:” -HNB
So here we can see Paul openly proclaimed himself as a Pharisee After the resurrection, which is known to be the strictest Torah observer's of all the sects of Judaism, and furthermore the Pharisees could NOT deny this as truth, they seen no evil in him, he was telling the truth.

Acts 24:14 “But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the Elohim of my fathers, believing All things which are written in the law and in the prophets”-HNB
“But this indeed I acknowledge, that in that same doctrine of which they speak, I do serve the Elohim of my fathers, believing All the things which are written in Torah and in the prophets”-AENT  here we can see that Paul don’t just believe in some parts of Torah but every last bit and every letter of Torah and the prophets, does he believe.

Acts 25:8 “Meanwhile Paul maintained, that he had committed no offence, either against the Jewish Torah, or against the temple or against Caesar”-AENT  here the “Jewish Torah” is in contrast with oral law, Paul knew he was in Violation of oral Torah aka the Talmud, but by the Torah from Moses he walked upright, even the accusers can’t deny this fact.

Acts 23:6 - Do you have any idea WHY Paul declared himself a Pharisee in front of the Sanhedrin?  It wasn't to uphold his former life as a Pharisee.  It was to escape from them as they, both Pharisees and Sadducees wanted him dead at that very moment!!!!  He was on trial before them, the chief priest had already had Paul slapped in the face!

He shouted that he was being persecuted because he was a Pharisee and believed in the resurrection.  [he declared that part of his former life as "dung" in Philippians 3 so how could he be supportive of Pharisees here?]

He wasn't exactly lying - Paul believed in and taught Christ's resurrection and ours in Christ.  The Pharisees held to a different resurrection void of Christ.

But anyway - when he started ranting about being a Pharisee, he knew that there would be a riot and there was.  The Pharisees and Sadducees were polar opposites - like Democrats and Republicans - and with the Sadducees believing any resurrection to be foolish and a lie - the fight began not with Paul anymore, but between themselves.

The Bible says that there was such a riot that the captain of the guard grabbed Paul and took him to safety in the barracks.  That's exactly what Paul intended and hoped for.

Paul was NOT teaching the Pharisaical lifestyle or was he teaching the Law.

He was tricking the Sanhedrin - goading them into fighting each other to slip out the back door so to speak.

I won't address the other three Acts passages that you mishandle.  You've already started a thread announcing every one here at the forum:

  •  clinging to traditions and not doctrine
  •  lost in the wilderness
  •  talking with split tongues
  •  having nonsensical doctrines
  •  no different than atheists looking to wrong people
  •  looking to Bible scholars and pastors [as if that's a bad thing!]
  •  not having the Holy Spirit
  •  distracted
  •  in LaLa land
  •  Christians only by tradition
  •  looking to man instead of God
  •  Pharisees lost in the wilderness

So I guess that includes me, even though you and I have never spoken.

C'est la vie.

Where did I get this?

From Acts 23:1-11.  I urge you to read it and read it slowly.  Paul was not boasting nor defending being a Pharisee.  Please, read this passage.  He was looking for an escape from being sentenced to death or even lynched.  And he found one according to the passage and he escaped the Sanhedrin.

Yes, Paul HAD BEEN a Pharisee as a younger man.  But according to Philippians 3 [which I suggest you read], he counted that along with everything else - rubbish.

Paul did not lie.  He believe in the resurrection.  He just did not believe in the same resurrection that the Pharisees believed in which was void of Christ.

Whose talking of Jesus creating a new religion that has nothing to do with the Old Testament?  I wasn't.

I believe it is our flesh now, at like 97% surety. Haha and I dont feel I should go any deeper than that publicly yet, because once you really observe creation its SOO HUGE, no human can fully understand it fully. And I honestly believe that as well..

Oh yeah!....I can see that as a possibility, praise the Lord, thanks.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
