Justification is by faith alone. Genuine faith in Christ produces good works.

It can take many years to manifest itself sometimes.....we must not be too quick to judge Believers.....I was still pretty much a Heathen many years after I  “ turned to God”  in order to be forgiven . That was the True Repentance That followed my Conviction Of Sin during my “ woe is me” encounter with a Holy God. I am nowhere near the Heathen that I used to be, but I still ain’t much to brag about.....still just a low- life sinner saved by Grace alone......yep, I still need tons of Grace to be saved, but as sinful as I remain ......just think how much worse  a man I would be if I did not have the Holy Spirit in me ! I thank God for His Grace .....

Squaky, Here is the plan then, Don't Sin :t2:

But if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins

From what I see No one encourages to break the law and sin, And I think all Agree we are not saved by works, The Problem I see is people then Try put it back on Works And Say you can lose Your salvation is where the contention comes in

Galatians 3 O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you?

This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

I think you see a greater expression of Love In admiration for the person than following a List of rules, And a stronger motivating Factor, for me personally anyway...The thing is When you Do what Jesus says you are so far from breaking the commandments its not even an issue, but yes If you are naughty the law will show you

exposing peoples hand in pagan rituals with the name of Messiah stamped on it... this is sin...def not allowed, start studying Torah and Gospel side by side, and youll start to realize how bad off the Body is.

The true knowledge of sin is very powerful, when one sins in ignorance thats one thing, but after they know its sin and continues for tradition(pharisee) or whatever other reason, the sin becomes standing or firmly in place.

And if a person denies truth to believe a lie they will be sent a delusion.

This is taken out of context of 2 Thes 2 -- the passage is referring to those who chose not to be saved.

2 Thes 2: 8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

@Yishai  People could easily criticize what you just stated that you are connecting your belief to salvation.  Do you see the possible problem in your statement?

Oh, yes, I fully agree that he has always been accused of such, and still to this day, thanks for making that clear.

I thought you also was making the same accusations against him haha.

i think what i am about to say is probably not what the OP ask for

but i will share it anyway.

some say Hebrew 6 4-8 talks about apostasy, which means we can lose our salvation by our behaviors so to speak. so in some ways, it is the opposite of what the OP is talking about.

so even "if" we can be saved by "faith" alone, it does appear that we can lose salvation by our choices and behaviors, if that make sense.

anyway, you all have a God blessed day.

Works are a means of demonstrating the genuineness of our faith and our love. If we do not obey God we do not really love him or have faith in the rightness of his ways (1 John 5:3, 4).  But we cannot earn salvation no matter what works we do. Eternal life is a gift from God through Jesus Christ, not payment for our works (Ephesians 2:8, 9).

Your acting as if 3.5 BILLION Christians are truly saved, when in reality 90% are not.

People that only believe for traditions will not change thier traditions for Elohim's word or the knowledge of sin, the ones who are truly saved will gladly rejoice over truth...the scripture was used correctly, not out of context. (Hence gay pastors in todays time)

-I know ppl personally with 50 years service into a church(deeply indoctrinated), that as soon as they seen the scriptural evidence started switching some things around in life, bc they wanted what HE wants for them.

About me connecting this to salvation, Messiah said, if one is not more Righteous than the Pharisees(all about traditions)

People should pray about this stuff, Ask The Father if they have fallen under the traditional/religious/Pharisee spirit, ask Him to let all truth be revealed.. stop asking your pastors, bc this is actually a word for the pastors, to bring to the common people of thier congregations.

I'm not the judge of anyone ... I'm just pointing out what you stated is out of context in the passage of which you were quoting.  I'm under the strong belief that it is a REMNANT that is truly saved.  And those saved are not saved by WHAT they KNOW, but WHO they KNOW.

Amen, what we know is Nothing..except what He allows and or gives,

If I didnt think He wanted me sharing the Knowledge of Sin, I would stop, but I think He has shown me its a tool of exposure, for what's coming one day.( and if people arent ready yet, thats fine, Bc He makes it rain in Due season, and thats when these seeds will sprout)

The Law of the flock, and the narrow road are both accurate I believe, as you also said a "remnant" and those are not always how people expect them to look.Noah got drunk, david cut off 200 forskins, Moses broke the Holy Tablets out of anger, Paul killed Messianics etc..

the Pharisees appeared the most holy to everyone and were all about traditions, and if a christain feels they dont need to do anything else, they are good right where they are, this sounds like a perfect example of being "lukewarm" to me.

Yes, God changes you over time. But you have to commit yourself to Christ fully. Have faith and trust and be obedient to Him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
