This is how it starts, the run. The run can be as bad or worse than what is being run from. Went to the local super Walmart early this morning to get a few items that might be beneficial should things deteriorate before the panic buying sets in full force. Never seen it that crowed that early in the morning; people coming out with lots of toilet paper; long lines at the checkout with shopping carts piled full of supplies. They are completely out of many things including hand sanitizer, toilet paper, etc., but they just received a shipment of TP that morning. Just like other disasters in my lifetime, people are becoming greedy, rude and starting to panic. Every place around here is sold out of hand sanitizer and other staples.

If you operate the same way business do, with just in time delivery and not stocking much. What's it going to be like laundry time, shower time, when your business is complete, etc., and you're out of soap and TP? I don't know what it's getting like in your geographical area but, it would be prudent to get your items you need while they still can be found. 

Don't have a clue how this will turn out but; I can predict the nature of many people and what they will probably do and when. Been there - done that. I believe panic buying is just starting, and this could be a prelude to something as a nation this generation has never experienced.

When there is no food supply any more people will start looting n when stores r empty they will loot rich houses

This afternoon, on my way home from work I thought that I might get a few items extra in the the likes of can food. I usually eat mostly vegetables and fruits and very little meat. I thought maybe to get a small bag of rice and flour in case things get a little out of hand.  Well lo and behold, my little grocery store had no parking spot.   So I wondered what is taking place as I did not hear anything in the news to be alarmed about.  

So I got a parking spot and went inside.  I never seen that store with so many people and lines to the cashier that long, not even at Christmas  time.   So I asked one lady what was going on and she said that it must be the news of the jump in infection rate in Ontario, Canada and the news that the government has announced to close school for two weeks.  So I left and went to another grocery store which is a bit more pricey and the crowd was similar, but the stock was plenty.  So, I picked up a few things and went home.

Before I left home to go to the store, I asked to Lord to help me not to be alarmed, but to grant me the guidance to be prudent in my decision making on how to handle situations as they arise.  I have been through many spiritual battles and have learned the lesson "God is in control", even when the situation looks hopeless.

I think it is wise to have a two or three week of essentials .   As the saying goes, you don't want to get caught with your pants down.    We should not horde as it is like greed I would think, but at the same time, we should have some oil on hand for the lamps.  

This is a spiritual battle.  The carnal man would see it as evolving virues ect, but in fact are demonic activities that are spreading fear and despair.  A born again believer have to come to terms with death, no matter what form it comes.   Some of the early saints that were burnt to the stakes for spreading the gospel and some for simply standing firm in their faith and not denying Christ .    So, in these trying times we are to let the word of Paul echo in our minds " To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord ".  

Keep the faith saints.

Here in small town in East Yorkshire, UK, I have just been into both smallish supermarkets and everything except sanitisers and no panic or crowds.

Tomorrow morning I go into big town with big supermarket to see what it is like.

Our bread wheat and milk, meat and eggs all produced in farms in ten mile radius.

Paper mills making toilet roll from recycled paper not far away.

11am news is London stock market up 5% - so what do the money men know?

The Lord God is where he has always been, that is watching over all creation and situations.  What exactly is your question, you need to amplify it a bit.

From what I have seen on the video clips ect., the UK is taking a different approach in handling this virus .  They are mainly saying that they anticipate that the peak for the infection would be in about three months time and they are not taking early steps to ban large gatherings and other stringent measures.  They think that if they take the early approach like Scotland and Ireland is  taking, the population might get into a an accustomed mode of things not happening and get lazy in  taking all the precautions.   

I hope my understanding is correct and please those living there update us to the facts.

They also said they expect 500 deaths. So I guess the implication is - maybe you will be one of them so don't worry? Really odd...

They already have an overloaded system here. My housemate called and was on hold with the NHS for 68 mins. Then gave up.

So if you are really sick - just get that stiff upper lip in play and tough it out.

Basically, you are on your own. And that is the reality of it all anyway. The waffle from the gov is just noise... placatory nothings. No one has answers, so they bifurcate many scenarios so you are left befuddled.
