WARNING fraudulent Social Security calls

The main reason people aren't reporting these scam callers is because so many scammers are disabling and tossing inexpensive cell phones away the moment they are used. That makes them impossible to backcheck/trace. Any information given to them is transcribed into their databases to be used for means of hacking into the account and creating havoc upon the victim. The problems they cause are astonishing.  

I don't even carry a Social Security card anymore, because I could be robbed of it at anytime. Nobody needs to be shown one anymore either. Hospitals, clinics, labs, and even the authorities just input the number, it pops up as affirmative and confirmed. By the way, I was issued my Social Security card at age 12, due to the child labor laws. During one summer I worked in the fields picking fruit and produce. It was mandatory to have one then.

Last year our old pharmacy phoned us.   Thankfully I picked up, sometimes it's telemarketers.   The pharmacy said a woman was there, claiming my mother had sent her over to pick up my mother's records!

I told them that only I pick up my mother's medication and do things for her, that she is homebound.   She also lives with me and I know she didn't give anyone permission to do that!    So the pharmacy didn't give the woman any records.

 

I then called the police to report this.   I thought they could send over officers or try to view the pharmacy video.   It sounded like a dangerous scammer.

But the police only said for the pharmacy to phone 911 next time while the woman is still there.

I have no idea who the woman was or how she knew our previous pharmacy!

You can report them online. You might have a long waiting period if you call them but you can get through.
