I do not look to myself to see perfection I look to the Scriptures and The Holy Spirit that teaches them to me >and< all point me to Jesus
Heb 12:2-9

2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:

6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

It helped me to realize that there are a number of "cessationists" on this site....they don't believe the Lord still does miracles or speaks to us apart from the written word today.  That explains why it can sometimes feel like you are talking in a different language with some folks at times.  But we know that Jesus is alive, not dead, He is always working and always speaking.....for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see.

We are... your expressing your feeling, visions, extra revelation and I am expressing God's Word....    Every post is a community of expression and comment... it's like an old adage if ya can't stand the heat stay out of the kitchen. What you are writing is error according to God's Word and my post are revealing such... now the question why would you not welcome this?

None of this is new and requires no special revelation, but has been available to and taught by many over the history of christendom--from the beginning until now. What concerns me because I have seen it before--is when these 'deeper teachings' elevate an individual because he/she believes is 'sent' by God to deliver a 'special message' for the age we live in.

This can be and often starts with subtlety--but never ends there.

If it is a true work of the Holy Spirit, then it will bear fruit. If not then it will either fizzle away or end in the same way that it started. With focus on the "sent one" rather than Christ.

Beware of being more special (speciality) than another member of the Body of Christ.

God is still doing miracles but He is not using them to lead people to Himself as clearly outline and testified by Paul the apostle

Rom 10:1-17

10 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.

2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.

5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.

6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
KJV

The Word of God (Scripture Genesis - Revelation) is closed canon... it is satan that wants to open it up in order to take away it's authority by a gnostic spirit...

Heb 9:14-15

14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
KJV

while you say He is mediating to the individual extra biblical revelation God's Word says He is not!

I know this is a season where He is very intent on bringing His Body to the fullness of the maturity He promised for it in Ephesians 4.  And it is not a time to be standing in His way.  Annanias and Saphira made that mistake even as believers, and the Scribes and Pharisees made it as unbelievers.  Both ended up suffering eternally, but in very different ways.  Those Scribes and Pharisees that didn't end up repenting at some point will find the cost to them was an eternity in the lake of fire. Annanias and Saphira will discover their place in His Kingdom is far inferior to what He planned for them, when He plotted out that plan of good works for them to walk in from before the foundation of the world.  It is a costly thing to be taken out before our race is run.   Very costly.  And it represents losses that are eternal...can never be recovered.   It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.  And there is a sin that leads to death of the flesh.  He will take out the rebel child who simply WILL not move on from accepting Him as saviour, to living with Him and knowing Him intimately as Lord.  Saved, but as though by fire....arriving home "naked and smokin' "  so to speak.

We will soon once more begin to realize the fear of a holy God...don't be "that guy".  It's going to hurt.

I don't think 'cess.........'  is a Biblical term describing this.

Rather, as written:   "... having the FORM of religion,   but denying the POWER..."  which was true when written,  and remains true today -

God's Word,  and Jesus,   "the same yesterday, today and forever"  ,  as written.

What is written in His Word?    He tells His Purpose in His Word - and it is the same all along - not changing with the whims or thoughts of men.

Men (a few, as written) turn to Him,   or reject His Word (most common),  and His Word is not changed regardless how many turn to Him or reject Him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
