I think the point was the whole "borrowed" thing is a spurious attack :)   Every single truth I have embraced I borrowed from Scripture :)  HE is TRUTH.  And i'm borrowing as much of Him as I can manage as fast as I can manage it.

And whoever He might give an ability to explain truth to my understanding.  Someone can accuse me of borrowing all they like...i'll wear that accusation proudly...if it's truth and my heart discerns it is...at that point it's MINE :)

It is not an attack, to ask someone who is posting large volumes of religious teachings, .... if they are writing them, or to suspect that they are borrowing them.

Im on quite a few forums, and i notice that many people write something and then paste it all over.... and often, its not an original composition.

If you look at His Thread, you'll see that its formatted according to being PASTED.

He may have written it.

Im sure he'll let me know, and we can go from there.

Very nice Jostler, well said, all truth is plagiarized from somewhere. As you brought forth, what is of value, is when they become yours.. Then those truths become part of you, they become born in you, never to leave, they become part of your very existence... Part of your life.. You know those truths by experience...As all truths need to be known....

Be blessed, to Him be our all, Not me

Jesus is THE Truth.

His bible is full of HIM, and none of this Truth is "plagiarized", so to say that "ALL truth is plagiarized", is not actually true.

The Bible is unique, in that God is writing thru the writer, so, thats original God breathed manuscript when first penned.

Where this turns into a Theological  fiasco, is when genuine manuscripts that create a bible, are doctored and tailored to suit the theology of the person/denomination who is sending it to the printer.

Will you ever post anything that you didnt "borrow" from someone else?

Give it a try.

Are you actually subtly accusing me of plagiarism? LOL.  My writing style may rub some the wrong way, it may be filled with typos, lol. but it is all me.  So if I have plagiarized myself, no harm, no foul! right?

blessings,

Gids

P.S. If by chance you know someone who is writing similar content,  with or without with a similar style, and preerably with less typos (see what I mean??), could you please give me their contact information? I would love to meet them! ?

I appreciate your opinion, buy you'll have to mature a bit in Christ to be someone who could "tell me off", and if that day arrives, then make certain what you are defending has the value worth you trying to do it.

Ok?

So,  i dont find much in what He wrote that speaks to anyone who is busy doing God's will.  His entire Thread, including at least one other one,  from a week ago, simple says that the born again are asleep, we're dead, God is about to kick up in the face,  and that trouble is coming so we better wake up.

Maybe that speaks to you, because its YOUR walk with the Lord that he's talking about, but, its not mine, and as far as i can tell, its not reflective of most of the people who are regulars here.

Correct em if I am wrong, but aren't you the one who objected to my 'broadstroking' the church by the use of the term "we"?  ? And yet somehow you know that what is shared will not speak to anyone busy doing God's will?  Hmmmm, me thinks the pot is calling the kettle black, lol.

If saints are walking in forgiveness, a wonderful thing, but not "going on to perfection" by reckoning their old man as dead and no longer them, are they not asleep to that amazing blessing? And should we not 'awaken to righteousness and sin not' as we have been instructed?

As to me stating we are dead, amen!! We are! Our only problem is we have not (yet) mixed that truth with faith and claimed it as our possession.

As to trouble coming, if you haven't noticed, trouble has already arrived, with more on the horizon. Do we realize our take on the gospel is built for itching ears only? No corrections, instructions, chastenings allowed.  Is this not exactly what we are told would be the state of His people  in the last days?

And is it not a sad state of affairs when what is shared, the actual how to see ourselves transformed into victorious saints by believing the promises of God, is viewed as somehow being negative?  Thank God, all that is about to change.

blessings,

Gideon

Thanks for that clarification.

I was not accusing you, but i was suspecting you of posting a cut and paste, because OF the way it formatted here,  proved that you pasted it here, and didn't actually it write it here.

So, that is why i asked you to "write".

So, if you wrote it on another forum and are just going from one Fourm to another pasting your stuff, then, thats pretty common.

Ok then,

Gideon,

if you are again going to teach, that all believers are doing nothing, and you are here to let us know, then you can give that up., ok?

You're not the Holy Spirit.

And, in case you didnt notice it....  30 yrs after Jesus ascended, they were burning Christians, or using them for a Lion's lunch.

This last week,  Missionaries were killed, murdered.....Same as every week that follows.

While in the Dark Ages, when the Catholic Church ran way too much of the world, they were burning Christians.

So, its not anything new that Trouble finds God's people...... it always has, it always will, starting with the murder of all the Apostles, sept for John, and continuing until we are lifted off this Planet, by the Power of Christ.

Jostler, my point exactly, thank you brother, above all, let The WORD be preached, let it become ALIVE IN US, then let us appropriate it and live it, so that others can see "Christ in us, the Hope of glory."

Actually, most of the time, when something is on my heart to write, I do it on MS Word. Now if I am following up or answering someone,  a "canned" answer would be tacky. LOL. But yes, it was and is my writing. Thanks for understanding.

I’m sorry, please forgive, my intent and meaning was unclear...Yes Jesus is the Truth and all truth ultimately comes from Him. My meaning was meant to portray that believers learn truth from something else, be it one another, books, or the scriptures themselves. So my meaning was to put forth there’s no new truths, just new to us truths.

Hope this helps with my meaning and intent..

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
