Brother, Jesus never said that he came to set us free from the Law, he came to set us free from sin.  In fact he taught us the how to keep the law.  The whole sermon on the mount was about how to keep the law of God correctly.   Jesus stated, 'you have heard that you shall not murder but I tell dont even hate in your heart or your already guilty of murder.  You have heard dont comment adultery but I tell you dont even look at women lustfully or you already have commented adultery', etc...   Jesus never once mentioned that he came to set us free from his commandments he taught us to obey them.

Read these:

Mat 5:19 KJV - Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach [them], the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Jhn 14:15, 21 KJV - If ye love me, keep my commandments. ... He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Jhn 15:10 KJV - If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
Jhn 14:15 KJV - If ye love me, keep my commandments.
1Jo 2:3-4 KJV - And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
1Jo 3:24 KJV - And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
1Jo 5:2 KJV - By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
Rev 12:17 KJV - And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The new covenant is God putting his law in your hearts for you to obey.

God Bless,

Jason

True, so you obey those whom you trust and have faith in.

Hebrews 9:16–17 (AV)
16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Luke 22:20 (AV)
20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

The New Testament begins not between Malachi 4 and Matthew 1

but when Christ died on the cross.

All that occurred before then is Old Testament (Old Covenant).

Rev 13:8 NKJV - All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Brother, The Lamb of God was slain since the very beginning of creation.

Nope. You twist scripture.

The purpose of Jesus sacrifice was determined from the foundation of the world / age.

But Jesus actually died approximately 1980 years ago just like the BIBLE says.

Jesus Christ was born, lived and died under the Old Covenant / Old Testament.

His death brought in the New Covenant / New Testament with the

darkening of the skies (in broad daylight) the shaking of the earth and the rending of the

veil in the Temple from top to bottom.

Just like he said in the Passover seder over the third cup (the cup of redemption).

Your not arguing with me but with scriptures.  Its say he was slain from the very foundation of the world.  This why God demand a lamb to be sacrificed for sin because it represented the Lamb of God.  God had preordained this from the beginning of time.

Nope. I am arguing directly with you and your misinterpretation of the passage.

Do you deny Jesus died on a cross 1980 years ago in Jerusalem?

Let me ask you this are we required to follow and obey the teachings of Jesus?

No answer my question.

Did Jesus die on a cross in Jerusalem 1980-ish years ago or not???

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
