Exactly.  We are dealing with the Trinity here.  Father Son and Holy Spirit.  Father sent the Son who is the Word made flesh.  Holy Spirit cannot contradict God's Word because He is the very Breath of God by which the Word was spoken.  So the Spirit of God MUST lead you to the Word of God, not negate it.

now why was that so hard? I love you Flowersun but I am not going to let you suggest God's Word is secondary to anything else not even the spirits that come to us .... for God's Word has warned us

We all must be wary of anything that does not agree or sets itself against God's Word.  It is the foundation of all foundations.  We must never be offended by it, but rather be edified by it.  Man can not live by bread alone, but by EVERY Word which proceeds from the mouth of God.  

I'd rather disagree with a person than disagree with God.  If I disagree with His Word, I automatically disagree with Him.

Loved one do you remember our many page wrangling over this? I would give you Scripture and what appeared you ignored and went right back to 'I'm trusting my experience over what you claim in Scripture' and it was left that way... I have been praying for you to understand that The Holy Spirit of God utilizes Scripture at every facet of life beginning with salvation to all aspects of walk in s/Spirit not in flesh till we are taken home

Well indeed you may have problems with written communications but when you testify- that it was thought spirit alone and not Scripture I have no other war to take it but that you are elevating spirit over Scripture and this The Holy Spirit of God would not do... His Ministry is to form Christ in us and He does so solely with The Scripture
