Simply in reading thru the Bible, and then seeing the last 1500 years history of God's People at times and places when one thousand fell on one side, and ten thousand on another side, but they were not affected, (instead - THEY WERE OFTEN BLAMED for the plague or epidemic or disease ! ) ..... did you NEVER read about God's Promises in the NT, in Revelation, as well as in TORAH, the TANAKH, the PROPHETS and the PSALMS ? All though Scripture, perhaps almost every page, as about Jesus, so also about the Promises AND the curses (for every promise, a curse was given with it also, as God declared) ..... and somewhere it is written: A CURSE without CAUSE, SHALL NOT COME. Brings flashbacks to my childhood. When my dad told me I was not allowed to go somewhere or do something. And the neighborhood kids trying to get me to do it and taunting me by calling me afraid.
