I disagree with your statement that the lukewarm are counterfeit believers.   Where does one draw the line as to where lukewarm lies on the scale?  We can't.  Only Jesus can, and the same would go with judging someone to be a true believer or not.  At the very best, we can only guess.

To me, a lukewarm Christian is someone who does believe in Jesus, but refuses to walk in His ways He sets forth for them to walk in.  More like fence sitters, knowing scripture is true, yet is unwilling to repent and give up their pet sins.

God knows who they are because He knows each and every person's heart.

You just denied that the blood of Jesus paid for Sin.

You just replaced Paul's TRUE Gospel of the Blood Atonement,  with your false gospel of  "repent".

Bad idea.

No sir, and that type of twisting is really getting old.  I know you hate to hear this, but you are dead wrong.

There is nothing that can replace the work Jesus did on the cross for our salvation, nor can anyone add to it or take away from it.  That is plain and simple enough that it would surprise me to see you try to make it say anything else.  What you seem to have an issue with, and you state so above, is that we must repent from our sins for them to be forgiven.  Show me where the call to faith does not include a call to repent.  Jesus Himself instructed us to repent and believe, so you must also be saying His words are a bad idea.

The only bad idea is the one where you claim one doesn't need to repent.  Where is the change of heart, the remorse, the turning away from the old man if there is no repentance?

Here is what you said.

So lets just stay with your QUOTE....ok?

  OneLight said:

Christ did die for our sins, but we first need to repent before they are removed, otherwise, they remain.

What you SAID, what you are TEACHING, is that THE BLOOD is not the justification, but that Repentance controls the effect.

This is not the case.

The NT says..>"all that CALL on the name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED"

Jesus SAYS..  "if you believe in me, you HAVE eternal LIFE".

You are teaching that repenting is THE reason God saves, and God says, that FAITH is why the Blood Atonement, is applied.

FAITH IS COUNTED AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.     NOT REPENTING...

So, yeah, what you are teaching is getting old.....very very....old, and tired.

Jesus wrote His 7 letters for us to learn from, ...one of the ways we learn from them is to look at "who" they were addressed to.

We can learn in which church we are in presently by allowing the Holy Spirit to show us/reveal to us which one we are in, ...Jesus said there are 6 churches that He considers to be either "hot" or "cold" and one that is luke warm, ...those He considers to be "hot" he commends and encourges to continue, ...those He considers to be cold He exorts to become "hot" again, ...but in the luke warm church we see Jesus outside asking for those that hear Him knocking on the door of their heart to invite Him in, ...if the do then they will be in one of the other 6 churches,

...notice it is the self righteous church He will spew/vomit out of His mouth, ...those are the ones who didn't listen to Him knocking on their door, ...that will hear Him say, "Depart from Me, I NEVER knew you!"

Lord bless

Years ago this was revealed to me what the true spewing out of his mouth is. This was demonstrated by Paul in

Corinthians 5:1-7

It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.

And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.

For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,

To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

This soul was delivered unto Satan and was spewed out of the mouth of God for the destruction of the flesh that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus Christ.

When a soul is spewed unto Satan or delivered unto him this is what helps purge out the old leaven. Sometimes when we are brought to the end of ourselves we can only look up. This is what produces the contrast in our life to help change us for the good so that our spirit can be saved.
This spewing out of his mouth was demonstrated through the story of Jonah and the whale. Jonah was being resistant to the will of God because of his lukewarmness.  God wanted him to go to Nineveh to prophesy against the city for its wickedness but he tried to flee Gods will for him.

This is why he had to have this experience of being spewed out of the mouth of God by a whale to give Jonah the contrast of his disobedience and lukewarmness unto God.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
