Both the Hebrew and Greek words for angel literally mean “messenger” and always appear in the masculine gender. Zechariah 5:9 ⁹Then I looked up-and there before me were two women, with the wind in their wings! They had wings like those of a stork, and they lifted up the basket between heaven and earth.

What are these women with wings then? Stork wing probably just mean huge as they are on a human sized creature. From this passage I believe there are female angels.

No. It is not an insult, so don't take it as such. The term, "hit-and-run" refers to those who post and leave directly afterwards. They assume they are correct and cannot be brought to a truth to the error of their responses or replies. Yes, I saw Zachariah 5:19.

This passage is not about angels (messengers) but a swift delivery to destruction, indictment and hardship. It is allegorical.

I take Zechariah as literal not allegorical but hey to each his own. I am not saying I am right or wrong. That’s just my interpretation. I have listened to lots of teachers and it seems they all think they are right. I have concluded no one is right about everything or they would all be teaching the same thing no?
