Our Flawed response to Corona Virus

When the Corona virus pandemic took hold our first inclination should have been to go to God, repent, and seek his mercy.  That is still the only real answer.  If vaccines or treatments are developed it will be by the hand of God working through men.  Nothing good comes from men apart from God.  Moses was close to God.  God spoke to him as friend (Exo 33:11), and he listened to him too (Exo 33:17).

Psa 127:1.  Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it, except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

If people want to put their faith in unconstitutional "social distancing" and face mask edicts from godless secular men, and even create a new religion out of it, they may do so.  As far as I'm concerned they were free to withdraw from society and wear whatever they wanted before anyone ever heard of Corona virus.  But I will seek God in times of peace, and in the storm.  Jesus always comes first.  He knows the answers before we even know the questions.  Nothing good happens without him.

It is highly unfashionable  for our "leaders" today to even mention the name of God, especially Jesus.  They are afraid to offend atheists, and religionists.  They almost never pray publicly, although most identify themselves as Christians.  Is it surprising that bad things happen, and continue on their course.

Jas 4:2.  Ye lust, and have not.  Ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain.  YE HAVE NOT BECAUSE YE ASK NOT.

God give us leaders like Moses.  Trump is a good man.  But we need more.  Please give us Godly men with the spiritual backbones to openly confess and pray to you to heal our nation.

I hear many of our leaders speak of God and of Jesus. I know my Ohio Gov did so just a few days ago.  Clearly you no not what you are talking about.

Have you ever consented to vaccinations? Or accepted medical help, including dental work?

If so, you have not obeyed the very things you have just posted about.

Coronavirus is an illness. A bad illness. But no more and no less than any other illness.

Well if I remember my Bible stories from Sunday School. The lepers were all put into isolation. Like outside the city walls or some place like that. Maybe with a sign that read lepers only. No one was to go near them for fear of getting leprosy.  Anyway that is what I remember from SS.

I have had vaccinations and other medical treatments.  As I stated above, I beleive our advances in medicine are gifts from God.  They come from his hand working through men to heal those afflicted with diseases, or in the case of vaccinations, prevention of diseases altogether.

I have seen some who worry that a corona virus vaccination could be the mark of the beast especially if made mandatory by the government.  This is ridiculous.  Healing is a gift from God.  As soon as a corona virus vaccine is available, I'll get vaccinated.  Whether it's government mandated or not is irrelevant to me.  And I will thank God for the healing he provided.

In fact I thank God right now for the Corona virus vaccine that I know is coming, even though it isn't available today.  I know it's coming because I've prayed for it.  Faith in God, and prayer do not prevent me from utilizing advances in medicine.  God is the true author of these advances, and my ability to utilize them, along with everyone else in the world.

Praying for the salvation of people throughout the world is the most important prayer by far.  But praying for a release from suffering in this world is pretty good too.  This is loving your neighbor.

My prayer could be the one that brings about the vaccine for Corona virus.  Maybe it could be your prayer.  Maybe it could be our prayer along with millions of others.  But it will be prayer that brings us a corona virus vaccine or some other divine intervention that removes the Corona virus hold.  And God will be the one who provides it.

Of course Jesus could return in the blink of an eye, at a time when we think not, and solve every problem that has ever confronted mankind.  That would be divine intervention at it's best.  I pray for that too.

Our prayers change the world.  There is no greater power that mortal men can possess and use.  It moves us from the mortal realm to the kingdom of God where all things are possible.

This was the point of my post.  Pray.  First.  Last.  And all points in between.  And thank God for the healing answer to your prayers.

Time to FLATTEN THE FEAR

Get on with life, enjoy the day.  Praise God.

There may never ever be a vaccine against fear, but one can't stay home waiting for one.

Get up stop using fear as excuse. Stop taking hand outs like a deranged street beggar.

Be free once again to think,  work, pray, and assemble whenever wherever.  Defend yourself now for the sake of the future of your descendants. Take back life today for yourself and for your neighbors, from the people handlers those useful idiots of demonic tyrants.
