Methinks someone on this thread doth protest too much.

The same one, and only one, confusing fear and love.

Time to ride your bike with no hands!  Weeeee! :o

Ha, you know last bike purchase, I had to buy a girl's bike. My body being so beat  up, I can't swing my legs up over the seat  of a man's bike. I felt wimpy about it until I noticed how many mature men are riding bikes with a low support frame like a girl's bike.

Maybe I should have held out for some color other than purple though? It was all they had in stock at the time. I do know the matching purple and white helmet.... well a bit feminine.

Well I guess some do love to fear. Seems like it anyway. Funny thing is some evidently want to go to the big box stores themselves, but don't want anyone else out there with them. Seems odd to me that a fear filled  person wants others to join in their fear.

As for me and those I know and associate with we are making a real effort to get on with life. Our churches are opening up again we are meeting in small worship and prayer groups we are eating out  going to gyms getting hair cuts ( Well not me-no hair to cut). We are working to try to save life not lives, life. If the fear filled sit much longer,  many more will suffer catastrophic evil consequence of starvation, poverty, and suicide.

There is a great lacking building up one that will cause way more deaths than any viral infection ever has, millions upon millions are already at severe risk.

If people want to put their faith in unconstitutional "social distancing" and face mask edicts from godless secular men, and even create a new religion out of it, they may do so.  As far as I'm concerned they were free to withdraw from society and wear whatever they wanted before anyone ever heard of Corona virus.  But I will seek God in times of peace, and in the storm.  Jesus always comes first.  He knows the answers before we even know the questions.  Nothing good happens without him.

It does not seem reasonable to conclude that wearing face masks in public is an non-Biblical act.  Even the Israelites were told by God to take preventive care regarding their health, as Biblical statutes regarding diet, disease, quarantine, and treatment of dead bodies reveal a knowledge of facts not appreciated by worldly men of medicine until thousands of years later. God’s law regarding animals unclean for eating would protect the Israelites while they traveled. It would safeguard them against trichinosis from pigs, typhoid and paratyphoid from certain kinds of fish, and infection from animals found already dead.  In all, the Law helped God’s people to distinguish between what was clean and unclean, pure and impure, citing about 70 different things that could render an Israelite unclean and these laws touched on physical hygiene, diet, and even waste disposal. Such laws provided remarkable health benefits!

I did not say that. Please correct your post to quote the right person. I was quoting someone else in the thread.

That's okay. I recognize that  we have a different advantage point on this awful political struggle going on. I do pray for you and for the care  nd healing for your mom.

The virus though,  it is a small thing  by comparison to what is happening right now world wide. I am a very tiny tiny tiny cog within the turning of events, yet  I am massively affected very directly by the effect on those that make products needed and desired by many  end users  of them. by this must shutdown mentality.

All are being shutdown by politics right now. No ships coming from China means more harm to the economy of the entire world than  most can imagine, unless they are actively in the chain.

Plus retail stores shutdown means no demand for manufacturing nor trade. It is a meltdown, a collapse that is already starting terrific angst among many people. Yes depression suicide disease all come about because of this shutdown. Already the "cure" is worse than the disease! Tweets are insults by world leaders are not helping a bit to get needed materials to manufacturers and processors. All angry tweeting does is  beget  more angry tweets. Can't build upon wild growing hatreds can only destroy.

A crappy little government stipend mass mailed to a fear filled population hunkering down without  purpose is no substitute for free commerce and honorable work where one hand helps the other and one neighbor risks self for all neighbors. And God's own go about the unsaved world with the gospel of Jesus.

Well. Everything here seems to be opening back up again. Except for the movie theater and the amusement park.  The bowling alley  is still closed.  Restaurants are open but have to limit their setting.  People are getting hair cuts. All the stores are open now.  There was never an order here for churches to closed. That was left up to each church to decide what to do.  So anyway, with everything slowly opening back up. We will see what follow. Good or bad.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
