There should be more than enough beds for them since jails all over the country let out many prisoners due to covid-19. No worries about space for them now. But instead we are reliving the 1960s all over again. No matter how we dice it, people still carry their personal opinions about others with them to work in spite of training. Most cops grow out of the “badge heavy” stage in the early years of their career. It doesn't matter what health issue's the suspect had. The cop charged with murder in this incident had been on the force long enough to know that his actions that day, wasn't his department's policy to do as he did. But he did it anyway. The man in his custody was handcuffed with his hands behind his back. He wasn't a threat to this cop. I'm very sure there are other method's of maintaining control of a suspect without “choking” them into compliance. A very tragic event indeed for all involved. Neither forms of expression are acceptable. I know this was not the message of your post. Still, it needs to be said. End the acts of violence now. When You have been learning from him, you are in tune with His Voice, and have ears to hear what the Spirit says to the churches, then you too will hear his voice. Pray that your ears may be opened.
