You see I have found it hard to believe in trinity. But even when I did believe in the Trinity in the past I still had the same problem.

Trinity is like water, ice n vapor.

God is invisible like vapor so He manifested in Jesus like ice n Holy Spirit is poured like water.

If you read my response to the post prior to this you might get some idea but to exactly explain why do I think I am possessed would not be good, so I’ll keep it to myself.

Maybe I need to alter my beliefs a bit. Maybe they are not totally  in line with actual truth. You see I have found it hard to believe in trinity. But even when I did believe in the Trinity in the past I still had the same problem.

Don't make belief in the Trinity too difficult.   Jesus spoke of His Father, and promised to send the Holy Spirit.   Simply believe.

Like was stated above, if you've excepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your own personal Savior, you were sealed and given the Holy Spirit that indwells in you. It's impossible for a Christian to be indwell ed by demon(s), we can be tempted and attacked but, not possessed. I'm not well versed in these matters or qualified to give advice, but...

What I do know is what scripture and Jesus said:

Matthew 7:22 (KJV) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [emphasis added]  Apparently the unsaved and secular are capable of casting out demons.

Matthew 12:43 (KJV) When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44. Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.

If that void is not immediately filled with the Holy Spirit, things will get a whole lot worse when the demon returns will a bunch of his buddies.

Our Lord makes no mistakes. Each of us was born the way we are and with what we have for a reason and purpose according to His will. We may not like it or understand it at this moment but, one day we will. I would encourage you to do an honest self-examination if you are truly born again or not. Satan and his minions come to kill, steal and destroy and give torment. The Lord offers personal inner peace, joy and eternal everlasting life, through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, what He paid for and did on the Cross for all whom will believe and accept His free gift.

Romans 8:28 (KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

You have the power to rebuke and force these demons out of you. Just use your faith and command them away.

Ervin, I also would like to say that I too believe many years ago i experienced something of demonic possession and i had someone to cast them out.

I also fasted for a period which the bible, I apologize i don't remember the exact verse, says "This kind can only come about by prayer and fasting."

I think also the verses about demons going into arid places to find rest and then coming back is a little confusing to me

I think what kept me back then from worrying about possession as much was focusing on Christ and his will. Also, i wouldn't let just

anyone lay hands on me after when i believed i had encountered possession. I discovered early on that there are people that don't really need

to be laying hands on others as they are possessed and can transfer their demons to you. I think Paul talked about "Don't be

hasty in the laying on of hands." Maybe i'm misinterpreting this verse but distinguish the spirit (someone elses spirit) before you

let them lay hands on you.

Thanks everyone for your answers. I think there must be a way.

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

I have been told by someone that I am not possessed, but oppressed. What’s the difference between being oppressed and possessed?

Oppression remains external and can be intense but not impossible to overcome.

Possession is internal wherein the body is the host of a demon, or as in the case of Legion, many demons.

I have just subscribed to your Neptune project. Just a question, why do you call it a Neptune project? Why Neptune?

@daytrader  Can we know why your website is called the Neptune Project?   Thanks.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
