Ask some question so we can have a dialogue...

That's why we have no good communication...

Ask questions like have you come to understand that when someone believes in Jesus Christ the basis he also has the Father...

No one can have the Father in any other way.   Only ...

The way to the Father is Jesus.  .we did not have the Father before Jesus Christ death on the Cross.....

The Father sent Jesus Christ to open the way to him with his death on the Cross.

That means the Father was childless....

Do you have any scriptures to oppose...if you do play your cards ..

I do not see any bible references and why?

So what are you trying to say ....

Not to follow the disciples of Jesus Christ...or not to read the bible....

Where are the bible references....

I am not asking that you post scriptures reference for them..

I am asking if they posted bible references together with their Creed...

If it came as a package...the Nicea decree with scriptures...

How did the convince others they were correct...

With the Sword...

Jesus told Peter do not use the Sword...

Did they tell the believers if they asks inquiring questions that they won't pray for them after they died...

Did the Nicea greed people prayed for the dead..after they died...

“Apostle’s Creed:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty,
maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ his only Son, our Lord;
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, dead, and buried;*
the third day he rose from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
from thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic (all over the world) church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.”

You did not answer the question with scriptures...

In the Nicea Creed..this and only part that says:

He will come again to Judge the living the dead...

Again no scriptures reference...

Does that say that Jesus is not Judging now from Heaven...when he comes back to Earth...then he will Judge the living and the dead. Q,  till that time ...no one is Judging?

No scriptures reference...

And his kingdom will have no end....Q when his kingdom will start?

No scriptures reference..

Please did they supply scriptures reference.

Did they pray for the dead....

Does it say in the Creed to pray for the dead?

The people who took part in the Nicea Greed...did they worship Mary....or asked the people to worship the  saints....scriptures references...

You ask for scripture reference...we are instructed to ask for scripture reference...

If you ask me I will give you scripture reference from the disciples.    The first generation of Apostles...

A

I took Notice....that the Creed sais to be baptized for the forgiveness of sins....scripture reference from Paul...

Worthy Christian Forums Statement of Faith:

We believe in God, the almighty creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in the triunity of God. We believe that God is eternally One, and also eternally the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit — the three being distinct, but not separate. Each Person of the Godhead coexists from everlasting to everlasting.

We believe in the Messiah, Jesus, God’s only begotten son, God come in the flesh. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate. He was crucified, died and buried. On the third day, He rose again. Soon afterward He ascended into heaven. Now He is seated at the right hand of the Father and He will return to judge both the living and the dead and reign for evermore.

We believe all mankind are sinful and are therefore subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.

We believe that everyone is in need of God’s salvation. Mankind is absolutely unable to fulfill the heavy demands of God’s righteousness, holiness and glory. Therefore, God, in sending His Only Begotten Son, has accomplished redemption for us through the shedding of Jesus’ blood. Because of His Son’s death, God has forgiven us of our sins, reconciled us to Himself, and justified us by making Him our righteousness.

We believe that salvation is a gift received by faith alone, in Messiah alone, and is expressed in the individual’s recognition and repentance of sin, and the acceptance of the risen Messiah as Saviour, Lord and God.

We believe in the supreme Lordship of Jesus Christ, before whom every knee in heaven and on earth will bow. And that there is no other name under Heaven by which we can approach the holy throne of God. Jesus Christ is the one and only mediator between God and man.

We believe that immediately upon death, the soul of the believer is absent from the body, and present with the Lord.

We believe in the ongoing work of sanctification by the Holy Spirit after redemption for the purpose of producing life changing fruit — love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and self-control.

We believe that the 66 books of the Canon, from Genesis to Revelation are the exhaustive, inerrant and inspired word of God.

This is more reach with scripture references and so good with the Salvation issue with strong scripture references which if someone asks it can be given because they author are hear to help with the asking.   What a blessing...they do not depend on authority and fear of authority to make people understand it...they depend on the Holy Spirit that is working in every one the Paracletous....the Spirit of Truth...

The worthy ministry is very special to Jesus Christ very close to his heart...because they work in Love they are Sheppards. As Jesus had asked Peter be a Shepherd to my sheep..and to my Lambs....to both the Jews and the Gentiles.

And this ministry does just that...they one with Peter in ministry...

PS

This post is not about suggestions to make the Creed even more brighter so I just pray and leave it in Jesus Christ hands and timing...there is God's timing for everything...

Hope that you revisit your royalties...this is good suggestion for everyone...so please do not take as being said to you...mostly I said that for those who I am wondering why they do not believe better...

Why the mix their faith with much tradition leaning to the left...

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
