Annanius and Saphira were not filled with the Holy Spirit yet,we don't know how strong their faith was ,they lived under the law. We don't live under the law..

Always a way out from under the microscope. Always a reason to not seek for the answer as to how to truly walk in obedience. How do we know that we know Him? Again, one more time.

We obey Him.

And if we find we cannot, is it not prudent that we cry out to Him as Paul did to save us from our self-willed, sin-loving, rebellious old natures?

blessings.

I think you do not understand born again and the holy spirit in our lives.

I will leave the teaching of you to others.

There is no two step salvation.

There is however, the natural process of growth from small seed to bearing much fruit. And if fruit is absent, does it not behoove us to seek God as to why this is the case?

To him who has eyes to see, what I shared gives the evidence needed to see the truth. If you choose to ignore it, I doubt even if one specific  scripture showed what you ask, you  would find a reason to ignore it.

Seven letter, seven churches, each urging the saints to walk as overcomers. The Word tells us "Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." It is good advice. The only question is HOW? How many there are who right now do not want to ask that question. And until that question is asked, no answer can be received.

You assume much to indict your brothers and sisters of willful sin and ignorance. This is not of Christ. I simply asked you to provide scriptural support for a statement you yourself made. You have just accused me of not being willing to accept God's word. This is very much not good for you. This is clearly a sin. Do you know my heart, that I would ignore clear scripture? Why do you think I would do that?

I hope that you see this and repent.

Back, as always with some posters, to secret knowledge only the chosen person can reveal. Secret knowledge is never shared. All Christians or most are bad Christians, not walking in the Light. Such little faith in the work of the Holy Spirit in those Born Again is shown by such posters.

Always the secret is hidden and so complex the person offering it cannot explain it, so insults those who ask. If we cannot see this hidden words then we are apparently lacking and at fault.

Such is the work of cults and is all "Emperors New Clothes". Challenging the words of such ones is seen by these 'prophetic' ones, who have secrets whispered to them seemingly direct from God, as proof of being too unworthy/spiritual/blessed by God to understand.

Is tedious. I am done with attention seeking drivel.

I apologies for my poor English, I am very tired.

Brother, I shared much that shows that the current church is failing miserably in comparison to the early church. You simply do not want to admit it. Do you honestly think the body today is as healthy as in the early church?

I fully understand why there is resistance in the body of Christ to admitting lack. But at some point, as the skies become darker and the temptations greater, the shakings will have their desired effect on God's own. They will seek God's face afresh so that they can walk in full obedience, pleasingHim rather than pleasing themselves. If we judge ourselves, we will not be judged. However, if we refuse, confessing we have need of nothing, and all is well with our souls even as sin and self love still run rampant, our blindness shall increase.

Do we not see? Hearts hardened by continued sin and refusal to admit need will prove themselves to be tares. At present, all grow together, but the day comes when the two shall be finally separated. A great falling away is coming, as the righteous awaken and begin to shine in holiness.

The key question is ..... do we hate OUR life, our continuance in sin,  our inability to truly do those things that are pleasing in His sight? Refusing to examine ourselves does not reduce our guilt. it magnifies it.

blessings,

Gideon

We are told that one third will be saved: "And in all the land, declares the LORD, two-thirds will be cut off and perish, but a third will be left in it. This third I will bring through the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on My name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘They are My people,’ and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God.’”(Zechariah 13:8,9) The remnant are those that are willing to live holy & sanctified before God. Many are called but few are chosen.  They have to live a life worthy of their calling.  God holds us accountable for every word we speak.

When you read the scripture that tells us that the way we KNOW that we know is if we obey His commandments, how do you fare?

There are those that follow the commandments given for the levitical priesthood. Then there are those that believe in a higher calling to follow the Melchizedek Priesthood.

Your English is fine (certainly good enough for a forum), as are the points you made.

These people are like modern-day Gnostics and are time-wasters, who will suck the life out of you, if you give them too much of your time.

What does it mean that Jesus died for our sins?

Question: "What does it mean that Jesus died for our sins?"

Answer: Simply put, without Jesus’ death on the cross for our sins, no one would have eternal life. Jesus Himself said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). In this statement, Jesus declares the reason for His birth, death, and resurrection—to provide the way to heaven for sinful mankind, who could never get there on their own.

When God created Adam and Eve, they were perfect in every way and lived in a virtual paradise, the Garden of Eden (Genesis 2:15). God created man in His image, meaning they also had the freedom to make decisions and choices of their own free will. Genesis 3 goes on to describe how Adam and Eve succumbed to Satan’s temptations and lies. In doing so, they disobeyed the will of God by eating of the tree of knowledge from which they were forbidden: “And the LORD God commanded the man, ‘You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die’” (Genesis 2:16-17). This was the first sin committed by man, and, as a result, all mankind is subject to both physical and eternal death by virtue of our sinful nature inherited from Adam.

God declared that all who sin will die, both physically and spiritually. This is the fate of all mankind. But God, in His grace and mercy, provided a way out of this dilemma, the shed blood of His perfect Son on the cross. God declared that “without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness” (Hebrews 9:22), but through the shedding of blood, redemption is provided. The Law of Moses provided a way for the people to be considered “sinless” or “right” in God’s eyes—the offering of animals sacrificed for every sin they committed. These sacrifices were only temporary, though, and were really a foreshadowing of the perfect, once-for-all sacrifice of Christ on the cross (Hebrews 10:10).

This is why Jesus came and why He died, to become the ultimate and final sacrifice, the perfect (without blemish) sacrifice for our sins (Colossians 1:22; 1 Peter 1:19). Through Him, the promise of life eternal with God becomes effective through faith to those who believe in Jesus. “So that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe” (Galatians 3:22). These two words, faith and believing, are critical to our salvation. It is through our believing in the shed blood of Christ for our sins that we receive eternal life. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast” (Ephesians 2:8–9).https://www.gotquestions.org/Jesus-died-for-our-sins.html
