Hi Moby,

So you can see the example is to NOT `lust after things, nor be an idolater, nor commit fornication, or make trial of the Lord or murmur.`

All behaviour.

I am not sure what your asking but the example is to learn from their fall which is not to fall for the same types of sin which are works of the flesh:

Galatians 5:13-21  For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another.  (14)  For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.  (15)  But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.  (16)  But I say, Walk by the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.  (17)  For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are contrary the one to the other; that ye may not do the things that ye would.  (18)  But if ye are led by the Spirit, ye are not under the law.  (19)  Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these: fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  (20)  idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousies, wraths, factions, divisions, parties,  (21)  envyings, drunkenness, revellings, and such like; of which I forewarn you(brethren), even as I did forewarn you(brethren), that they(Christians) who practise such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Hi Moby,

Yes behaviour. However you were making it more than that in a former post.

Hi Moby,

Please notice that our Father told Moses to tell Pharaoh that the Jews had to go into the wilderness to serve Him:

Exodus 7:16  And thou shalt say unto him, Jehovah, the God of the Hebrews, hath sent me unto thee, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, hitherto thou hast not hearkened.

God took them out in the wilderness to prove His people:

Exodus 20:20  And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before you, that ye sin not.

When we read all of 1 Corinthians chapter 10 it becomes apparent that all that the nation of Israel experienced are our example:

1 Corinthians 10:1-6  For I would not, brethren, have you ignorant, that our fathers were all under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;  (2)  and were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;  (3)  and did all eat the same spiritual food;  (4)  and did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of a spiritual rock that followed them: and the rock was Christ.  (5)  Howbeit with most of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.  (6)  Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

Peter makes it very clear that the church is also going to be proven by our Father as well:

1 Peter 4:12-19  Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial among you, which cometh upon you to prove you, as though a strange thing happened unto you:  (13)  but insomuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory also ye may rejoice with exceeding joy.  (14)  If ye are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are ye; because the Spirit of glory and the Spirit of God resteth upon you.  (15)  For let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil-doer, or as a meddler in other men's matters:  (16)  but if a man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this name.  (17)  For the time is come for judgment to begin at the house of God: and if it begin first at us, what shall be the end of them that obey not the gospel of God?  (18)  And if the righteous is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear?  (19)  Wherefore let them also that suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing unto a faithful Creator.

The church which is the house of God will be driven into it's wilderness to be proven first in the very near future as the 7 year tribulation commences:

Revelation 12:6  And the woman(church) fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that there they(corporate manchild) may nourish her a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Just as God nourished His people through Moses out in their wilderness with the manna(Christ) so too there is a corporate manchild being raised up to nourish the church in their wilderness as they are proven by the fiery trials of God so as to separate the wheat from the tares:

1 Corinthians 3:11-17  For other foundation can no man lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.  (12)  But if any man buildeth on the foundation gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, stubble;  (13)  each man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself shall prove each man's work of what sort it is.  (14)  If any man's work shall abide which he built thereon, he shall receive a reward.  (15)  If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as through fire.  (16)  Know ye not that ye are a temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?  (17)  If any man destroyeth the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, and such are ye.

The last feast of the Jewish year was the “feast of tabernacles” which is a prophesy of the harvest of the righteous. This eight day feast begins with a holy convocation in the wilderness followed by the final holy convocation when a solemn assembly(rapture/resurrection) takes place on the 8th day:

Leviticus 23:34-36 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto Jehovah. (35) On the first day shall be a holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work. (36) Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Jehovah: on the eighth day shall be a holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Jehovah: it is a solemn assembly; ye shall do no servile work.

For more understanding on who are part of this solemn assembly please see this link:

https://sumofthyword.com/2019/03/16/psalm-82-the-congregation-of-god/

The “feast of tabernacles” is also called the “feast of ingathering” at the end of the year when the final harvest is brought in from the field:

Exodus 23:16 and the feast of harvest, the first-fruits of thy labors, which thou sowest in the field: and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year, when thou gatherest in thy labors out of the field.

Exodus 34:22 And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, even of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end.

Jesus called the field the world:

Matthew 13:38 and the field is the world; and the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil one;

Jesus is letting both the wheat and the tares grow together in the world until the tribulation commences. Then 7 years of increasing tribulation will prove the wheat from the tares. The tares will be gathered up FIRST into bundles for the fires of hell:

Matthew 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather up first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.

Then the saints are gathered from all over the world by the rapture/resurrection into our ONE solemn assembly out of the field and in the clouds with our savior Jesus:

Matthew 13:41-43 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that cause stumbling, and them that do iniquity, (42) and shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth. (43) Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. He that hath ears, let him hear.

As we come out of the world we are to enter into the rest in our seven year wilderness before we enter our promised final rest on the 8th day/year:

Leviticus 23:39-43 Howbeit on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruits of the land, ye shall keep the feast of Jehovah seven days: on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest. (40) And ye shall take you on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm-trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before Jehovah your God seven days. (41) And ye shall keep it a feast unto Jehovah seven days in the year: it is a statute for ever throughout your generations; ye shall keep it in the seventh month. (42) Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are home-born in Israel shall dwell in booths; (43) that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am Jehovah your God.

Nehemiah 8:18 Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of God. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the ordinance.

Hebrews 4:9-11 There remaineth therefore a sabbath rest for the people of God. (10) For he that is entered into his rest hath himself also rested from his works, as God did from his. (11) Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience.

This solemn rest on the eighth day as well as Abraham being told to circumcise the flesh on the eighth day both represent our rapture/resurrection when our corruptible flesh will be cut off for the last time as we gather in the clouds at the last trump:

Genesis 17:12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every male throughout your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any foreigner that is not of thy seed.

1 Corinthians 15:50-54 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. (51) Behold, I tell you a mystery: We all shall not sleep, but we shall all be changed, (52) in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (53) For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (54) But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

Those “booths” the Jews were told to dwell in during the feast of tabernacles in type represent our personal temple where the Holy Spirit dwells within us:

1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (17) If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

The tribulation will prove who will be the tares that fall away in disobedience and who will be the wheat that enters the kingdom of God:

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Peter clearly said that the church must be the first to go through fiery trials to prove if we will obey the gospel:

1 Peter 4:12-19 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial among you, which cometh upon you to prove you, as though a strange thing happened unto you: (13) but insomuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice; that at the revelation of his glory also ye may rejoice with exceeding joy. (14) If ye are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are ye; because the Spirit of glory and the Spirit of God resteth upon you. (15) For let none of you suffer as a murderer, or a thief, or an evil-doer, or as a meddler in other men’s matters: (16) but if a man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God in this name.

The post above is just a small sample of all the scriptural proofs found for a post trib rapture in this link:

The feast of Tabernacles is for the Mill. All nation's must observe this time or rain will not fall on their land.

Not true, they r in the place for the death, read the story of poor lazarus n the rich man

That is old testament. All that ended when Jesus died at calvary: "When Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, He yielded up His spirit. At that moment the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth quaked and the rocks were split. The tombs broke open, and the bodies of many saints who had fallen asleep were raised. (Matthew 27:50,51,52)

Matthew goes onto say in verse 53: " After Jesus’ resurrection, when they had come out of the tombs, they entered the holy city and appeared to many people." Paul tells us: "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" (2 Corinthians 5:8)  One of the first things we read in Acts "After He had said this, they watched as He was taken up, and a cloud hid Him from their sight. They were looking intently into the sky as He was going" (Acts 1:9,10) So wherever Jesus went, we go to be with Him.

There is no record if those resurrected saints went to heaven with Jesus.

Paul says the dead shall b raised n taken to the cloud with living saints at the rapture.

Daniel will rcv his reward at the end times, he is not yet in heaven but in gehenna now

Just because the souls that were left after the wrath of God must keep the feast of Tabernacles during the millennium does not erase the fact that it is also a sign of things to come for us:

Ecclesiastes 1:9-10  That which hath been is that which shall be; and that which hath been done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.  (10)  Is there a thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been long ago, in the ages which were before us.

Ecclesiastes 3:15  That which is hath been long ago; and that which is to be hath long ago been: and God seeketh again that which is passed away.

Quite incorrect. The Tanakh is the BASIS for NT doctrines and is repurposed many times by the apostles. If you throw out the Tanakh, you remove 3/4 of the scriptures. To do that means the Divine Counsel and Deut 32 worldview is removed. A grave error.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
