Believing in God is seeing my sins nailed to the cross with Jesus. Believing in God is a change from focusing on "self" efforts of trying to work up within myself a sense of "belief" to a focus on the finished work of Christ on the cross. Believing in God is a transfer of faith from me to Christ. Believing in God is seeing that when Jesus died on the cross He did all that God requires for my sin to be forgiven. Believing in God is a look in faith at the cross. Believing in God is an overwhelming relief within my troubled soul that Jesus did everything necessary for me to be reconciled to God. Believing in God means that all is well with my soul because of the finished work of His Son on the cross. Believing in God is a peace that is impossible to explain to anyone who has not found that peace for himself or herself. Believing in God is all about Jesus.
