And indeed, I reiterate that there, we are talking about Gods' chosen people, Israel, not the political entity, modern national Israel.  Certainly there are some chosen in national Israel, but there are some chosen in other nations as well. I think we should suppuort, trying to help the people of national Israel, to become the Israel of God.

We are told that Abraham: " looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God". (Hebrews 11:10) Some people would say we are building that foundation now for the cities of the future during the Kingdom Age. When the Sons (Daughters) of God will be manifest here on the Earth. So the Israel of the Kingdom Age is to be our pattern.

"The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever." (Revelaton 11:15)

I was just making an example. I really have no idea if any tree cutting caused a mud slide. It was just an example of humans messing up what God created and causing their own disasters because of it.

Could be. But this is was what I mean. If this whole thing was man made then I do not see it as part of God's judgment. But man's foolishness.

Is there a nation or country on earth that possesses all these marks of God?

Israel was to spread abroad  West, East, North, South, colonize and to have a new home, northwest of Palestine.  Also to colonize the desolate place of the earth and be God's instrument in destroying evil

multitudinous seed
to have all the land needed
to be first among nations
to continue as a nation forever
to be invincible to outside forces/defended by God
have great mineral wealth
agricultural wealth
to be envied and feared
to have a new name
a new language
possess the gates of her enemies
control the seas
be sons of God/Christian
carry Gospel to the world

But he has not come yet. So at this moment we and the nation are not being judge?

And from what is seems. How we treat the needy and each other, is what  we are going to be judge on. Interesting.

We are told: "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." (John 10:10) This makes it pretty clear that sickness does not come from God. Paul would suggest that we bring this on ourselves. 

"For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body eats and drinks judgment on himself. That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep. Now if we judged ourselves properly, we would not come under judgment." (1Cor11:29,30,31)
