Hi Charlie, and God bless.

Thank you for your patience I will answer all your questions, but I am on a iPhone, and I have to think for the answers, as I am not reading from a script.

You will note this topic has already exceeded 82 pages --- we have plenty more pages to go...... I suspect!

That is fine! If you would like to continue in the "what is a soul" direction, that is fine.... so, the definition of a living soul is found in Gen. 2:7 - one part dirt and one part God breathing something into Adam.... so the issue here is centered on what exactly did God breath into Adam --- if it was just air then Adam lost nothing when he sinned - he was still the combination of dirt and air and the only change to him after he sinned was to be excluded from the presence of God and the Garden.

If however, God imparted or breathed His spirit (not Holy Spirit because that belongs to Him and HIm alone) into Adam (along with air), then the question becomes did his disobedience cause him to lose this "spirit" breathed into him by God or did he still retain it even after he was kicked out of the Garden.

Adam was made to carry his own burden re: his righteousness and his God Given Life.

The God given Life.

God gave to Adam what he had, he gave him from his Life and that what Adam and Eve had before the disobedience the same Life as God but they were independent from him as they were humans and lived in the body.

Their place was in the Garden...

God had to come to them in the Garden , they could not go to God.

Their Inheritance was the Garden and they did not have a Heavenly Inheritance only a Garden Inheritance "an earthy one" and this is it they were still alive when they disobeyed.

And they will still remained alive if they did not disobeyed as death came to them upon at the time of their disobedience.

The Physical death which came later on, but at the time of their disobedience they found themselves in the "death Inheritance".

We see when they were in the Life of God their Inheritance was only the Garden an earthly one and not a Heavenly one.

With their disobedience they found them selves in the earthly environment out side the bubble of the Garden or they came out from the womb and they were born into their new life on Earth and with their knew Inheritance.

*we know that they Lost their Garden Inheritance and with their knew Inheritance we have a situation we did not have in the Garden.

And this is, Adam will eventually die and at that time we will have the separation of him from his earthly body.

What happened to Man at that stage, can we know what was his allotted Inheritance from God after his death?

Can we know ? Did God made know to Adam and to the Serpent at the time of the Exodus from Garden...

We need to look at what God said to the Serpent at the time when he Judge the Serpent.

Next part coming up

God in Genesis three made not one but two important statements to the Serpent.

The first one was that he will live forever in the same stage as he was at that time, as the Serpents do crawling on the Ground.

By saying that God informed the Serpent what was his plan about Adam or the Human Race..

And we can see that on the next statement God made to the Serpent when he told him that the time will come when his rain over the Human Race will end, when "the seed of the Woman will "crouched his Head".

His Head is referring to the right or entitlement of the Devil to take Adam after death and as DEFAULT all the descendants of Adam at death.

Both the Fallen one from Heaven and the Fallen Man from the Garden , both Fallen from their first created place .

The Devil from Haeven as one time he was living in Heaven and he disobeyed God and Adam disobeyed God and ate from the tree of Death in the Garden to inherit the Death Inheritance after death to be in the care of the one whom he obeyed after death to descend in the place of the death.

From the Garden man fall in the earth and at death descends in the heart of the earth.

Man was without a Heavenly Inheritance Or there was only at that time one Inheritance for mankind only the descending Inheritance to the place of the death.

This is what God said that the seed of the woman will put an end to this right of the Devil to take all mankind at death.

The seed of the woman will change that and we know when Jesus Christ died on the Cross

"Bruised his heel" and was raised from the dead that God open the way for Mankind to the Heavenly Inheritance as Jesus Christ inherit Heaven and not for himself only but for everyone who is as he is by faith alone when they believe in him.

In his Eternal Life.

We as believers in Jesus Christ are in Jesus Christ Eternal Life, we do not have the burden as Adam in the Garden to care and maintain the Eternal Life because we are adopted by Jesus Christ we depend on Jesus Christ to remain in the Life of God and he will as he is in Heaven in his Throne and God has given him everything that he has to rule without end.

Adam disobeyed and he fall, we disobeyed and we stand in the name of Jesus Christ not in our own name.

We are in the Eternal Life we are in Jesus Christ.

Most or all of your questions are answer, and you can asked me where is the answer to this or that question and I will show where and supplement if it needs to do so.

Good morning, Charlie.

I’d have to say most definitely, “Yes.”  Animal sacrifices were the acceptable covering temporarily for sin until Christ's death.

Genesis 3:21 "Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them."

I believe the clothes were given to cover them and protect them from the shame of their sin.  Adam and Eve had used fig leaves to hide their shame; however, here it is God that makes the sacrifice to cover the sin.

Jesus Christ was the blood sacrifice that God gave to all mankind by which man could be made right with God.  The only true forgiveness for all sin is in the blood of Jesus Christ.

I agree with you... but do you think Adam May have lost something that was in him when God created him?

If Adam was able to be in His presence he had to be more than just dirt and air....

If God made us in His image what does that mean- dirt and air?

For me, if we are able to understand what God meant by “in His image” (which can not just be dirt and air), then we can compare that definition to our definition of “what is a living soul” or Gen. 2:7..

So, what do you think Gen. 1:26-27 means?

“dirt and air” = flesh and spirit

Genesis 1:26-27

26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over [a]all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

~el

Thanks Elect! So, the air component = spirit... ok!

But what does that mean to you? If it is “spiritual” then there is something to it... not a physical mass but still IS something...

Air certainly is not something spiritual so what is this “spirit / air piece of our creation? How does this play a part into “His image”?

Thanks DeighAnn! What do you think or how are we made in His image?

We have the two parts- dirt / body, and the air / spirit side.

How are these parts contributing to His image?

It was Adam's "breath of life" body, his spiritual body, which the eye cannot see.  The “breath of life” wasn’t the physical air that Adam was to inhale and exhale.

Bare with me... was the “breathing” into Adam just air or something more?

Like I said above; it was a spiritual body that the Creator breathed into Adam. :)

Oh, I think I see what your saying- In my mind I do not put those two words together- spirit and body..

So we definitely have a physical body at creation- dirt, and a spiritual body (I stay with your term) - and this spiritual body was what God breathed into Adam?

Meaning of course that the act of breathing into Adam was not simple air- agree?

Agree!:)

Ok and I think we are both standing at the same place and time in this discussion...

Ok so what do you believe this “spiritual body” is that God breathed into Adam?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
