I am not sure I understand, so ask for clarification.

There are many believers that are not taught about the gifts of the spirit. They are still believers and have some measure of God's/Yeshua's Spirit.

A lack of distinction between the heavenly and the earthly. We look to the scriptures and the Lord teaches us that there is an appointed time for every matter under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1) which to us, means here on earth. Thus, the Lord's will is done on earth as it is in heaven. Heaven is first and the earth follows.

Couched another way, the earth proceeds according to time whereas heaven does not. There is an appointed time for every matter under heaven. :)

The earthly is nothing like the heavenly hence this distinction is made throughout the scriptures. The prophets knew this well for the Spirit of God opened visions to them: they saw the Lord upon His throne beyond the confines of the world... they witnessed the Lord preside over His holy ones upon the mount of assembly which is not a location on this earth... and as for the apostle John, he witnessed scenes from heaven given to him by the Lord.

The heavenly is beyond our experience for are we not vessels of clay with a living soul? We are clay and the Lord is the Potter, the One who fashioned us and gave us life. You're familiar with the scriptures so I'm confident you recognize the many references in what I'm writing, sister.

Everything is finished in the eyes of our God who is in heaven but there are times and appointed times for all things on this earth. I hope this makes sense to you.

Of course the Word wasn't made flesh before He became flesh and walked this earth as the second Adam, our Savior and Christ. He was not slain on the cross before He became flesh and was crucified because there is an appointed time for this on earth, just as there is an appointed time for every matter under heaven. Let us remember the scripture,

But when the fullness of the time came, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the Law, so that He might redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons and daughters. (Galatians 4:4-5 NASB)

In the fullness of time. :)

All work to be completed in the flesh and blood body.  Thank God for the measure of faith given you and THANK YOU for the excellent response, it's always the  simple stuff, keeps me humble thank God.

thank you. There are some who say that those who believe in Gifts, but cant heal or speak in tongues or prophecy, are not proper born again Christians, even if those Christians evidence other gifts from God.

I am not sure I understand, so ask for clarification.

There is something in your post that made thank God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

The only thing God is asking from everyone in the world is to believe that Jesus Christ died for the forgiveness of their sins. Yes Jesus Christ died for the sins of the whole world, for everyone who had die at the time of the Cross and everyone there after.

But for everyone to have his sins under the blood of Jesus Christ he must believe that he died for him/her. This is it, at that time he/she are IN JESUS CHRIST.

At that moment   by DEFAULT they rereceive the Spirit of Adaptation. In other words God puts the Spirit of Adaption in our heart which remains in us as long as we believe.

We are born from above, the Spirit of Jesus Christ in us give us the witness and together with our Spirit cries ABBA FATHER...

does not mean we are conscious about that all the time, but our inner man is.

And we have other spiritual gifts put in our heart at that time.

We have the Holy Spirit working in our life and from within our heart.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit it is as it says it is, and we grow in the Holy Spirit as we go along in our walk of this life.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit it is for the born again, to equip the believer for special things in this life, for special missions in this life.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is for the believers in Jesus Christ those who want and asked for it.

Have I address your concerns?

I know there are some weird ideas out there, especially in Christian Middle Earth (the internet). I must assure you that those that would say what you just posted are categorically wrong and should be ashamed of themselves.

The only thing I have not (yet) experienced first hand is raising someone from the dead. So does that mean I am 'not a proper Christian' ??? Stay far away from those like you quoted. Far away!!

Maybe that is a way to discern those of true faith from not as (and I know you know but maybe someone else doesn't)

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God and Christ must be formed in you before you receive the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 4:9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

Ephesians 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Ephesians 4:12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Hi Leah, nice you're here and thank you for your important question.

I would like to answer this question, but first I would like to determine with you a few things, in order to give a good and complete answer.

1. What do you understand by Born Again?  Can you talk about that with regard to yourself say?

2. Can you also tell if you have received the Holy Spirit?  And how is that noticeable?

God bless you sister.

Not everyone who has been born again...comes to the Lord as you have spoken of here.

The Holy Spirit remains in us as long as we believe?

Scripture for that please?...

How can we not believe, if we have received the Holy Spirit?

The Holy Spirit lives in us, he will never leave us.” Never”.

no, I want to hear from you the answer to my question before sharing. You have appeared to state that only those who exercise the Gifts listed in your previous post are true Christians. Is that what you believe?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
