Personally, I like how the current expanding universe is explained in Isaiah 44:24, while the wise are incapable of understanding it (Isaiah 44:25).

The Bible doesn’t exactly say it was from nothing, though I know what you mean wasn’t from physical materials atoms etc. that makes up everything but even though it’s not visible doesn’t equal nothing per say.

Jesus created ALL things (stated in several places):

For man, creating is rearranging that which existed before.

For God, it is creating from nothing that which did not exist before.

For man, creating is rearranging that which existed before.

Maybe what I’m trying to say a copy, like saying a metal pot can be from the same pattern of a wooden pot using different materials.

The closest we can come to nothing is CERN. They want to eliminate anything that can abstrust their experiment. Otherwise nothing does not exist. Even in a vaccum or empty space there is still something.

JohnD, have you not watched Star Trek -Next? It is or was a very entertaining show and for many it is just a matter of time (no pun intended... or maybe there was), until we are able to create anything from nothing - the replicator is on board every starship - I thought you knew that!  In fact, I am working on one as we speak.... but when I ask for a ribeye steak with a baked potato it tells me to put something in first... I keep telling it I already put nothing in .... Then it tells me to put something in or get to the back of the line.... 

Ya see, it  is always something! Charlie

PS. I am not making this up ..... this is nothing to joke about.... this is something or maybe nothing to think about.

We read in Rev 21:4 when there will be a time when there will be no more death. When people die their spirit and soul goes to heaven but the physical body returns to the earth and is raised up at the resurrection.
