Proof of faith....

1 Peter 1:7 (NASB)
so that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

Faith says; I do not know, but God does..

Faith says; I do not see, but God does..

Faith says; I do not understand, but God does..

Faith says; I can not, but God can..

Faith says; not I, but Christ in all things. 

For just as true as it is, that God knows those that are His, He too knows those that are trusting in Him.. For all that are His, are trusting in Him to a degree... It is in this degree of trusting is He at work in one’s life..

For scripture says the proof of one’s faith is more precious than gold..

Why is it that the proof of one’s faith is more precious than gold? 

Because faith is that thing that brings God and man together.. And the fruit of that joining is the most precious of things.. For the restoration of the image of God is the purpose of the salvation there is in Christ.

For to the degree one trusts in God to that degree can it be said that that one knows God... For no one touches God without faith, but the one that does touch God with faith, that one receives to the degree of that faith.... For to the degree of one’s faith will be the degree of one’s praise and glory in the day of the revealing of Christ.. 

For no higher joining can there be but in one being joined with Christ in His death, and then in His resurrection, whereby faith makes these, one’s own.. So that as Christ was raised out of death into life, we too, that have faith in the operation of God in us might be raised to a newness of life, as the new man is formed in the time of this life, faith being it’s food...

Be blessed all and eat well in the meal of faith set before one, as the fires come, that one might learn to trust and then receive the fruit of that trusting....

Faith is not a keep of blind faith but trust in what is known.

Thank you but that is not what the Word of God says Faith is. Clearly says now faith is... you know that you know that you know. Doubt is never of God. He said if we doubt were like a ship tossed back and forth and wont get anything from Him. And its "I can do" all things through Christ. Well you said not I but Christ in all things. Again I can do all things through Christ. See were not mindless puppets or slaves. There is no other in heaven like man who was made IN His image and thats not just some mirror image.

From the start one must believe that God is. Thats knowing something God can not do for us. Faith is knowing not guessing not wondering not doubting that God is for you not against you. Faith is knowing He is coming back for us as He told the 12. Anyway Hebrews really breaks this down. The truth in what yous said for me like this. He will give some a throne and we get all kind of rewards and crowns and then WHY lay them at His feet? All Him.. Hes in you so YOU CAN!

Amen! I remember when Jesus said:  O ye of a little faith, and in another passage

He said, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, but the proof of this kind of faith to me is when having it and it does provide that need of what you ask for.

But the things we do not know...we know by faith.  Faith is the knowable proof of an inner hope, of the unknowable

Do I know how God is going to help me?   -No

Do I know the direction He is Going to take me  - No

Do I know what he is going to ask of me? - No

Do I know that whatever will be, will be His Perfect will?  Yes

It is the proof of the faith that is the most valuable of things, because the proof is the thing itself... And the thing itself is the joining or maybe better said the re-joining of God and His fallen image of Himself, (man)...

For to the restoration of the fall is the purpose of Christ’s death... And that is the becoming of one new man in Christ.. This new man is a real thing, something that never existed before... Faith in God, faith in the operation of God in one’s life, to have God Himself form Himself in one is the only way to have this new life spoken of in scripture...

Trusting Him on a moment by moment basis as we go through our day to manifest Himself in all of our lives.. The desire towards this, this constant desire of this is the only thing that will see the fruit of this desire... For in accordance to the strength of this desire will be the fulfillment or the proof of that desire, or the proof of faith, i.e. the thing itself..

Be blessed all in the manifestation of Himself in the inner man..

Yes Christian live in the certain factual historical truth that is Christianity.

 

The faith we live by is not a woolly that wishful thinking.

 

Unlike other religions Christianity can be tested, our faith is bolstered by knowing it is historically true.
