We already have a third temple. It is us collectively and individually. A temple not built with stone and a circumcision not made with hands.

I understand that. I also understand the question asked was not answered - again! I asked a question and it has not been answered. I asked you that question. I asked you that question based specifically on what you specifically and explicitly posted. I asked a question and it was not answered. I have asked the question twice and it still has not been answered.

Why was Jesus coming back?

Luke 18:8

New International Version
However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

** Faithful Version
Nevertheless, when the Son of man comes, shall He find the true faith on the earth?"

**your question as it is, it does not so relevance to the context of Luke 18:8.

it departs from the context of Luke 18:8.

you are asking "why was Jesus coming back".

this question is to the reasons as to why was Jesus Christ raised from the dead. Or to the reasons as to why was Jesus Christ was coming back.

when Jesus Christ died he knew that he was coming back.  Don't you think so. And he knew that their unbelief that he was still the Christ to them it came not only with their confession but also with their actions, they were about to prepare his body for burial.

it's good it was the Sabbath if not they would have buried him before the three days, and the scriptures that foretold that out of the rock will come the water of Life it could not have fulfilled.

18:8 it says that when the Son of Man comes back to the earth will he finds faith on the Earth.

Not any kind of faith, but faith in him that he is the Christ.

You agree that at the time of his death Jesus left the earth and when he came back he found the people who had believed in him as the Christ before his death on the Cross not believing in him as the Christ.

he found them getting ready to prepared his body for burial.

No one on earth believed that Jesus was the Christ of God when he died on the Cross.

at that time they stopped believing.

hope you do not disagree with that.

Jesus Christ foretold that this will happen before it happens in Luke 18:8.

This is what Luke 18:8 is all about.

For three days the Light of the world stopped shining on Earth and it cannot be found on anyone on earth.

and Luke also says that he will returned back to earth and he will not find anyone waiting for him.

your question is not within the context of Luke 18:8.

I did not say it it may not be appropriate within another context. I did not say anything against it.

About the issues raised in Luke 18:8,

do you have something to contribute, in what you agree or disagree, so far it seems that you are not getting close to the issues discussion.

Do you want to be part of that , if not why you insist to introduce something that is not found in Luke 18:8.

Jesus in Luke 18:8 came back from the dead and not alone as to prove to where he was.

Jesus came back because God raised him from the dead.

Thank you, we are the Temple and Jesus seeks to come and make his Throne in our hearts.

He seeks those who want to worship him in Spirit and in Truth.

So they can worship him even when they are held in a dungeon because of their beliefs in him.

Do you see these scriptures as symbolic?

If Believers have Gods name written on their forehead and we see this as symbolic, why would we then think the mark of the beast on the forehead or hand is to be seen as literal?

so you either belong to God and will spend eternity with him or you have the mark of the beast

Only believers in Jesus Christ will enter into Gods rest

everyone else has the mark of the beast, we belong to God or we don't

Hi Jaydub,

Actually this isn't a very solid argument because if you look at how this was carried out you would see that although God desired the Israelites to have the word of God front and center to their lives, there were indeed literal physical representations of it.

The Israelites would literally  place the scriptures into bands worn on their foreheads or on their hands/wrists.

While I think the comparison is interesting, I don't see the need to force any sort of similarity to the MoB as stated in Revelation. To further make that point, there are dissimilarities as well. For one thing There were no restrictions with buying or selling tied to those words the Lord put into the hearts and minds of His people.

In the same way the MoB is two fold. It is both a physical representation or something recognizable to a device AND a way of saying those who take the mark have solidly chosen a side. The wrong side. The similarities are the mark will be a commitment to their god..little g. For the Jews, theirs was a commitment or rather a reminder to always keep those words at hand and in the heart.

There are a few similarities to the mark that have occurred in history, yet nothing that really matches this statement of scripture. It would make perfect sense that the RCC might have had a pope who demanded his subjects do a certain thing in order to buy or sell. The only problem with it is it doesn't line up...not really. This will be a worldwide event, not something to only affect a kingdom or even a few kingdoms.

Nothing the RCC has done thus far has dictated anything to the entire planet as something that had to be carried out or else. Until it becomes world wide, until it becomes "or else" and until it becomes specifically related to buying or selling with a mark on the forehead or hand it doesn't fit.

Yes a spiritual temple that is dispersed across all nations.

We are not required to all gather and stand upon the Temple Mount.

For Mount Zion does belong to YHVH, God, Jesus and it is his holy mountain, but since the crucifixion and the rejection of Jesus as Messiah the Temple Mount has been desecrated by other temples to other gods - it remains desolate until today.

When Jesus returns to rule the nations from Mount Zion, with a rod of iron, then as described in Ezekiel there will be another temple that all the nations shall come to.

Isaiah 2:2  And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
3  And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.

Very nice! Is the final Temple the Messiah?

Personally, we will be with HIM and I really don’t see a physical building or such when we are with HIM.

I realize there are more than a few verses speaking about mansions, and Temples and rooms, etc., but I think this is necessary since there are no words God could use where we would have the ability to fully understand or comprehend the life with HIM.

Just my thoughts, Charlie

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
