No one can come unto me unless the Father draws them,
and I will raise them up on the last day.

It is written, they shall all be taught of God.

Therefore, everyone that has heard and has learned from the Father,
comes unto me.  John 6:44-45

God called you by our good news..
weather by word of mouth or by letter.  2 Thess 2:14-15

God has manifested His word through preaching  Titus 1:2-3

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Rom 10:17

The written word of God is going out into all the world
and will be available to all: Matthew 24:14.
Thereby all the world, everyone, is called.
No one is predestined to go to hell.

In a house there are vessels of honor, and vessels of dishonor,
if a man cleanse himself from dishonor he shall be a vessel unto honor.
2 Timothy 2:20-21

How can a man cleanse his way?

By taking heed unto the word of God.  Psalm 119:9

-------

The Word of God came down and became flesh,
The Words God spoke became flesh and dwelt among us.

If you meet your enemies ox going astray,
give it back to your enemy.
If you see one that hates you, struggling with his burden,
even if you don't want to help him, you shall surely help him with it.
Exodus 23:4-5

Love your enemies, and do good to them that hate you. Luke 6:27

Making clear that Exodus 23:4-5 is not about the ox or donkey.

Behold, I will raise Israel up a prophet, and will put My words in His mouth..
and it shall come to pass that whosoever will not hearken unto to Him,
will be destroyed from among the people.  Deuteronomy 18:18-19 Acts 3:23

Therefore.. whosoever hears these sayings of mine and does not put
them into practice is like a fool that built his house upon the sand..
Matthew 7:21-28   Luke 6:46-49

Lord, how is it that you will reveal yourself to us Jews and not to the world?
And He answered and said; Whoever has my sayings and keeps them,
he it is that loves me, and I will reveal myself to them.  John 14:21-24

Go ye into all the world and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father Son and Holy Ghost,
teaching them to observe whatsoever I have commanded you.
Matthew 28:19-20

-------

Sincere Christians have been taught to, and have made a decision to
actually put the teachings of Christ into practice.

In one way or another, the attack from the wolves on the inside of the Church,
is to have people dismiss or overlook the teachings of Christ.

However Paul strongly affirms actually following the doctrine/teachings of Christ:

"if any man preaches otherwise, and does not consent to wholesome words,
even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine that is according to godliness, he is proud knowing nothing" 1 Timothy 6:3-4

"If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let that person be anathema,
Oh Lord come!" 1 Corinthians 16:22

"He that has my commands and keeps them, he it is that loves me" John 14:21-24

And that is not referring to all of Gods commands, but rather to the teachings of Jesus; Matthew 5 through 7 and Luke 6. It's good news, the focus needs to be sincerely be Christ, which therefore means the things He taught as first and foremost. Empowered by His Spirit we surely can practice His specific teachings.

Salvation is both a state and a process.

The moment we sincerely confess our sins and accept Christ we are his. This is our state or standing with Christ.

From that moment on while we still live in bodies of flesh we are in a struggle with the flesh which is lessened by  our willingness to submit to the spirit and deny the flesh. This is a process. Initially I think many Christians feel invincible in the beginning. I call it the honeymoon period. When the honeymoon wears off we realize the reality here on this earth is we need to keep on keeping on in the strength of the Lord and in our desire to follow the Spirit and not the flesh.

We battle the evil elements of the world.

We battle ourselves at times.

Until death life is a struggle. Less so by submitting to the spirit. One day praise God we will all be changed, renewed.

I also need it, brother,  knowing God supplies what I need.
And another couple I repeat in my mind to let light in my heart.

"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding"

In all thy ways acknowledge him, (let Him know)
and he shall direct thy paths"
Proverbs 3:5-6
Believe!

"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap,
if we faint not"
Galatians 6:9

Hang tough, clancy.
You're on the battle ground.
Bullets (fiery darts) are flying. (doubt)

If you are saved by God, Then my belief is, you automatically become a new creation, I still don’t get all this choosing business...Once Saved, that’s it ,you are HIS!!...i am led by the Holy Spirit,I have no choice but to follow...

Where else would I go?..these are my personal thoughts, I have a living relationship with God....I can no longer follow the world, can’t be a pleaser of men, I’m a pleaser of God!...

That which is born of the Spirit is Spirit.

2 Peter 1
Easy-to-Read Version
1 Greetings from Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ.

To all of you who share in the same valuable faith that we have. This faith was given to us because our God and Savior Jesus Christ always does what is good and right.

2 Grace and peace be given to you more and more, because now you know God and Jesus our Lord.

God Has Given Us Everything We Need
3 Jesus has the power of God. And his power has given us everything we need to live a life devoted to God. We have these things because we know him. Jesus chose us by his glory and goodness, 4 through which he also gave us the very great and rich gifts that he promised us. With these gifts you can share in being like God. And so you will escape the ruin that comes to people in the world because of the evil things they want.

5 Because you have these blessings, do all you can to add to your life these things: to your faith add goodness; to your goodness add knowledge; 6 to your knowledge add self-control; to your self-control add patience; to your patience add devotion to God; 7 to your devotion add kindness toward your brothers and sisters in Christ, and to this kindness add love. 8 If all these things are in you and growing, you will never fail to be useful to God. You will produce the kind of fruit that should come from your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 But those who don’t grow in these blessings are blind. They cannot see clearly what they have. They have forgotten that they were cleansed from their past sins.

10 My brothers and sisters, God called you and chose you to be his. Do your best to live in a way that shows you really are God’s called and chosen people. If you do all this, you will never fall. 11 And you will be given a very great welcome into the kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a kingdom that never ends.

12 You already know these things. You are very strong in the truth you have. But I am always going to help you remember them. 13 While I am still living here on earth, I think it is right for me to remind you of them. 14 I know that I must soon leave this body. Our Lord Jesus Christ has shown me that. 15 I will try my best to make sure you remember these things even after I am gone.

We Saw Christ’s Glory
16 We told you about the power of our Lord Jesus Christ. We told you about his coming. The things we told you were not just clever stories that people invented. No, we saw the greatness of Jesus with our own eyes. 17 Jesus heard the voice of the great and glorious God. That was when he received honor and glory from God the Father. The voice said, “This is my Son, the one I love. I am very pleased with him.” 18 And we heard that voice. It came from heaven while we were with Jesus on the holy mountain.[a]

19 This makes us more sure about what the prophets said. And it is good for you to follow closely what they said, which is like a light shining in a dark place. You have that light until the day begins and the morning star brings new light to your minds. 20 Most important of all, you must understand this: No prophecy in the Scriptures comes from the prophet’s own understanding. 21 No prophecy ever came from what some person wanted to say. But people were led by the Holy Spirit and spoke words from God.

Footnotes
2 Peter 1:18 This event is described in the Gospels. See Mt. 17:1-8; Mk. 9:2-8; Lk. 9:28-36.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
