When he had abundance it was in food and clothing, as apposed to being hungry and being dressed in rags which Paul also endured. Show me a teacher today dressed in rags and going hungry. 

I am not disagreeing with you, just trying to express that the problem is not money, it is not evil. It's what people do that is the problem

Its cool, forgive me if i sound judgmental or hostile, its not that its just im trying to put down my thoughts, but i mean no disrespect or anything. Here is a scripture i thought of

The parable of the talents in Matthew 25:14-30 explains very well how we should be with all things the Lord entrusts us with in our lifetime.  If it is very little, do your best with it to help and bless others.  If it is very much, do your best with it to help and bless others.  Some of the wealthiest people in the world are the most unhappy people in the world.  Some of the poorest people in the world are the happiest people in the world.  It's never about what we possess here on earth, it is about our Godly possessions, faith, hope, love and a promise of eternal life with Him.

I am the one that mentioned Paul having more than enough. I did not mean to imply that Paul lived in the lap of luxury and flashed gobs of money around showing off vast wealth as some t.v preachers do today. NOT at all. But that his needs were met. Paul spent two years under house arrest in Rome (Acts 28) and he was often imprisoned. Many of his letters were written while he was imprisoned. The gifts were given while he was imprisoned whether that be house arrest, or jail.

Open your bible to Philippians 4 and begin at verse 10

Philippians 4:10-20 (NIV)

10 I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. 11 I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. 12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength. 14 Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles. 15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only; 16 for even when I was in Thessalonica, you sent me aid more than once when I was in need. 17 Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account. 18 I have received full payment and have more than enough. I am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent. They are a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing to God. 19 And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

20 To our God and Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

I have a very low opinion of people preaching the "prosperity" gospel. As in if you give to the preacher God will make you rich or cure all your problems etc, that type of reasoning is what I condemn. All they do is fleece the poor. Thankfully we know where that will lead them to, but it is so sad how they take advantage of desperate people.

Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
