And in 70 AD that is exactly what happened. The age of the old covenant Jews was ended with a bang.

Nope, not so, even though you continue to teach that it did.

When did all this happen?  I'm sure some can be said to of happened in those days, but not all ... :

  • For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.
  • Hear of wars and rumors of wars. where nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
  • Famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
  • Christians delivered up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.
  • Then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another.
  • Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many.
  • Because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.
  • The gospel of the kingdom preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations.
  • The ‘abomination of desolation,’ spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place
  • There will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
  • Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it.
  • False christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive,
  • Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
  • The sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
  • And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
  • The parable from the fig tree: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near.  (So you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near—at the doors!  Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all these things take place.  Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.)

There is so much more that needs to be fulfilled that what you claim to of been done in the past is impossible to prove, no matter how you word it.  Yes, Titus did fulfill the words of Jesus (“Do you not see all these things? Assuredly, I say to you, not one stone shall be left here upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”), but not everything that needed to happen happened.

Read Revelation and Josephus alongside Ken Gentry's "When Jerusalem Fell".

Forget pre-mil error and Dispensational stuff. Just study history please and find out for yourself.

All I need is scripture to show what scripture tells me, not mans creation twisting scripture to mean what it was not meant to be.  You can keep all your doubt.  I'll continue to watch for the return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus.

In that case, read and understand it as written with due note taken of historic flamboyant hyperbole as seen in most OT prophets. All of us see some history in the scriptures but many see too much futurism when studied incorrectly.

I also continue to watch and wait for the return of our King and Priest. As Kings and Priest belonging to Him we should deport ourselves accordingly and NOT listen to pulpit fables.

Read your bible as written and get into the mindset of the writers and readers of those day. Understand their worldview and that Yeshua was talking to Jews about Jews and about what was 'shortly' to take place in and around Jerusalem. AD70.

Oh, I do read scripture as written, which is why I can see the difference between what happened around 70AD and what is suppose to happen in the future.    Now, will you answer my question: When did all this happen?

Just a question...anytime something bad happens in the world, why do Christians always say it’s a sign and the end is near. I cannot tell you how much I see this on a daily basis. Wars and other catastrophes have been happening for thousands of years...and sometimes I think it hurts us and makes people who are not Christians run further from the truth. People start date setting and everything when events unfold. I do believe in the Bible, but I don’t believe that everything that happens is a sign.

Prophecies are Promises by God that the Event prophesied will happen.   And until all of the Prophecies are fulfilled pertaining to Christ's Second Coming, we understand God won't return.   So, it gives us something to [gage] by.   And it gives us an idea to where we are at among the remaining unfulfilled Prophecies.   So it is very important in the [Time-Line of man's history since Adam until Christ's Second Coming].

Preterist hate this: It proves John was not in Patmos in 70 A.D., so nothing about the Apocalypse refers to 70 A.D.

Even Moses Stuart, America’s most prominent preterist, admitted that the “tyrant here meant is probably Domitian.

What do you does the Bible tell you what will happen in the future of our earth? How should we respond?

Luke 21

And they asked him, saying, Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

Matt 16

The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.

He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.

And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

I don't get it.

Pre-trib, Mid-trib, Post trib: honestly I do not care. Yes, I lean towards all of them and can quote scripture to prove my points.

I say: we should live our lives as if He is coming tomorrow, and make plans as if he won't come back for 100 years. Frankly the bigger picture is: Are we living our lives for Him, and being faithful stewards of what He has given us (parable of talents)?

IF Jesus does not come back today . . . BUT . . . you die before the day is over . . . are you ready to meet Him ? ? ?  Are your loved ones ready  ? ? ?

That is my life's primary purpose . . . .

Grace and Peace . . .  Ray . . .

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
