The Woke movement

People throughout the world are becoming increasingly aware of the inequities and injustices surrounding their lives. In Daniel 12, the Lord informs us that when the worst of times come upon the earth, knowledge shall be increased (Daniel 12:4). It seems to me that the "Woke" movement represents this increasing knowledge and understanding about the inequities and injustices in todays world.

These are the days in which transgressors reach their climax (Daniel 8:12-13; 23), through the Antichrist, a.k.a., the little horn who magnifies himself above everything, including God (Daniel 8:11; 11:36). 

We may not be at the worst of times yet as indicated in Daniel 12:1, but with all the news about the increasing destruction of our environmental resources, it looks like the earth is not to far from the dire circumstances described in the Olivet discourse, when the abomination of desolation (a.k.a., the Antichrist) makes his appearance.

The Greek word "ethnos" is where we derive our English word; ethnic. So, better said, "race wars."

I do not want to write a book on the subject, but this "woke" movement is nothing new. I'll use but one example, the BLM movement. Same old story time and again. Check out the three black lesbian women who founded the movement, and all the mansions they are buying. Follow the money: Where are they getting all this sudden income to purchase multiple mansions? 

This is the age old end-time and socialist movement. To make everyone equal, equally poor except for the ruling elite and our masters. Socialism takes from the productive by the force of law, then distributes that wealth to the politicians choice of beneficiaries (for votes). Thereby; diminishing my ability to provide for myself and my family. Equality and socialism takes away all incentive to be productive and get ahead. Do the rich and poor have equal access to justice under the law?

I agree, brother… this will be the way of the world as we move closer to Christ’s return.  Without Jesus, the days ahead could look dismal indeed!  Yet within the church, we have sanctuary.  Paul explains this to the churches in Galatia:

Galatians 3:26-29

26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

To me, understanding that Jesus is our equalizer is being “woke” in the real sense.  Any other definition is a worthless, oppressive, man-made ideology.  As Abraham’s seed, we understand and trust in the promise of God to hold us together—our almighty Father, “who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did” (Romans 4:17).  “For God so loved the world,…”—all of us, from every nation and ethnicity, who are drawn to Him.

You are so right, @Dennis1209!  We “ain’t seen nothing yet” that will ever compare with what God can do!

Yes, @luigi, it does seem that the time of the end is drawing near, and people are running “to and fro” in utter confusion, looking for something to believe in.  What they need will not be found in any man-made philosophy, but we in Christ have the very treasure they need!  And yes!  Knowledge will increase as the Holy Spirit empowers us to share the Truth of the gospel of Christ. \o/

I dont believe BLM or Woke people want justice. They are intolerant of the views of others. Big Tech for example and the liberal press do not give the apposing side a fair shake. Thats not justice its bigotry and censorship. They talk about doing away with  "whiteness" as if being white is bad. What about blackness? Is that bad? This is racism and or racebaiting. It sure isnt justice.

I cant speak for other countries only my own. The liberal press in the USA is horrible. And the USA is part of the world. The OP said all around the world. So i gave one American perspective. Why do you always criticize my posts in such a way?

BLM is a Marxist organisation.  Marxists don't want justice (I'm agreeing with you), they want to create chaos, so that, out of that chaos, they can bring their own kind of order, an order in which they are in control.

BLM and similar organisations use Critical Race Theory (which is extremely racist!), which sprang from Critical Theory, developed by Marxists, after they met and tried to work out why the Proletarian revolutions had not happened worldwide.  They concluded that there were three main hindrances: the family; religion; and culture.  They formed a long-term plan to undermine family, religion and culture, the fruits of which we are seeing right now.

Or, if they have internet access are caught coming to this very website.  That, is censorship. 

Any discrimination or persecution is wrong. We cant look past the smaller things as if they dont count. For example, in America conservatives are discriminated against. Maybe they are not being fed to lions but they are being mistreated. This isnt necessarily religious persecution but may also be political persecution.
