Hi Dad,

I very much see the temple that anti-Christ makes the abomination as a physical temple and dont really see any scripture as saying otherwise.

I do agree that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit, but the temple being spoke of in the end times will be in Jerusalem and will be physical unless I am seeing something totally wrong.

Notice that he is refered to the "man of sin" not the spirit of sin of which the spirit of anti-Christ is already at work in the world, the "man of sin" will be revealed and he will be the manifestation of the spirit of sin just as Jesus was the manifestation of the Spirit of Holiness.

Do you have any scripture referance as to your conclussions? I would be very interested in reviewing them.

God Bless,

Kevin

Hi Davey,

Thats some pretty heavy stuff there brother!

Many will be decieved by anti-Christ which is the reason Jesus Has warned us ahead of time.

Many because they arent expecting to go through tribulation will think they are doing us and God a service by turning us over to the authorities, thinking we are decieved and blasphemers, but Jesus will be there with us through it all.

The time for the mark is rapidly approaching, and we of the faith will be put to the test by the enemy, but God will show us a route of escape.

God bless

Kevin

Amen brother

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled [Matt. 24:34].

The word

Hi everyone,

I'm pentecostal (I noticed a few on the board here)...we are going through a "word aflame" published Bible study. Just this past Wednesday my pastor taught the section on the end times. Now, I am an end time teacher, I have spent the last two years studying nothing but end time doctrine...and when I went home Wednesday day, based soley on what he taught-I was confused. I can imagine how confused the remainder of the congregation was that had little or no end time knowledge. In general, the way end time doctrine is taught in the church is confusing. Reason being is because to many preachers use end time doctrine as a scare tactic instead of honestly trying to make it understable to the average person.

There is absolutely no scriptural base for the "God could come at any moment" statement. That is used in more altar calls than any others. His coming is not emminent. The bible clearly states a clear and decissive road map that pin points the time frame in which we will be raptured as a church. I discussed this with my pastor's wife and her eyes about bugged out of her head. Because, noone has ever addressed that before, atleast not in a direct manner.

The only scriptural doctrine is post Trib. If you study and watch...His coming will not be "as a thief", that scripture is referring to those who aren't watching.

God Bless,

Sabrina

I've noticed with some of the pre-trib doctrines that the rapture seems to be some sort of a "secret" coming of Christ, coming to take His bride out of here before the Great Tribulation comes down.

Then His second coming in all His glory.  This seems to imply that He will come twice, once secretly and once in full view.  Which is difficult to support scripturally as well.

It's very easy to explain scripturally.

The secret coming for His bride:

1Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

The coming that "evey eye shall see."

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Notice that that in 1 Thes. we meet Him in the clouds, whereas in Revelation 1:7 He returns with the clouds.

The Greek word "in" in 1 Thess 4:17 is "en." It means "a primary preposition denoting (fixed) position."

The Greek word "with" in Rev. 1:7 is "metah." It means "a primary preposition (often used adverbially); properly, denoting accompaniment." He will be "accompanied by the clouds." This is referring to His return with us, His bride. Where else are believers referred to as "clouds?"

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us

The word "cloud" in Heb 12:1 is the same as in Rev 1:7, just a different tense of the word, yet the same word.

The pre-trib view is the only viewpoint which allows for the imminent return of Jesus Christ! Else, a whole series of events must unfold before He could return. Hence, His words here are meaningless:

Mat 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Blessings...

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
