Who is the greater sinner: the homosexual, or the liar?

In the words of the apostle, 

As it is written:

“There is none righteous, no, not one;
  There is none who understands;
  There is none who seeks after God.
  They have all turned aside;
  They have together become unprofitable;
  There is none who does good, no, not one.”
“Their throat is an open tomb;
  With their tongues they have practiced deceit”;
“The poison of asps is under their lips”;
“Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness.”
“Their feet are swift to shed blood;
   Destruction and misery are in their ways;
   And the way of peace they have not known.”
 “There is no fear of God before their eyes.”

   (Romans 3:10-18 NKJV)

No man or woman is righteous. Not one of us can proclaim, "I am better than my neighbor who is a drunkard!"

Have we ever uttered a lie? Have we practiced deceit at any time? Are we like that wicked servant whom, after being forgiven of much by his Lord, takes his fellow servant to court over a pittance? Every living soul is the work of His hand. 

Christ loved us when we were dead in our trespasses, laying down His life for our sake. We are to be like Him, then, which is our calling in the Lord. The second great commandment is like the first according to His words: love. 

We do not condemn for, having been condemned ourselves, we heap condemnation upon ourselves like that wicked servant who was cast into the outer darkness. Neither did the Lord God condemn us, convicting us of our estate in the light of truth. We are not the Lord to whom nothing is hidden... we are not God who knows the secrets of the heart, and we are not like the Most High who knows the full measure of a life lived. There is no one like Him. 

Pride whispers that we who do not burn with lust for other men (or women) are superior to those who suffer in such a way. But we have lied and spoken falsely which is why I ask the question, "Who is the greater sinner: the homosexual, or the liar?"

God called out to Adam - Adam hid himself. If there is any grace it is precisely that. It is not the covering of a dumb creature sacrificed - it is God calling out. If God does not call out - then there is no fear of God. God has spoken through the Law and the Prophets and in these latter times through His Son.

They heard God and then after they hid themselves God cried out. What would be a greater wisdom than an ability to separate the threads of the garment of words is to know the difference between the flesh of the body and the weakness of a mind enslaved to its effect. In either case, however, they heard God.

I would like to point out that in your previous post, you stated that if God hadn't called out, then there would have been no fear. Your words were:

However, as you agree, they "heard" God before He called out to them. Their "fear" was due to knowing God was in the garden, they "acknowledged" Him and this was the reason for their fear. The fear, before He called out, led them to "hide" themselves before He called out.

I said nothing more than the Scripture says. 

The term sound in the first verse cited is:

qol (קוֹל, 6963), “voice; sound; noise.” This word also appears in Ugaritic (“sound”), Akkadian (“call”), Arabic (“say”), and in Phoenician, Ethiopic, and old South Arabic (“voice”). 

You may think that I am being pedantic but the term sound in Genesis 3 v8 & v10 is akin to John 3:8 “The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

In this verse of John 3:8 the term sound  is phone (φωνή) from which we derive the English term phoneme as an expression of a unit of sound in a given language. 

So Adam did hear the voice of God - even as you do not believe that the prophet who spoke to you in your "Nathan" moment was God - rather you heard God else you were not convicted of sin at all and your faith abides in sorcery and not by prophetic speech by which you heard the Spirit.

But I have to tell you that what I stated "What would be a greater wisdom than an ability to separate the threads of the garment of words is to know the difference between the flesh of the body and the weakness of a mind enslaved to its effect." was a far more important thing.

1 Cor. 6:9-11 (Webster)

 9  Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
  10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

  11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

I have never had homosexual desires and I find them abhorrent; but, I was a slave to sin, just like everyone else, until God saved me.  Now, in spirit, I am a slave to righteousness, as is everyone whom God has made born again.  Yes, we still sin sometimes, because of our, as yet, unresurrected flesh; but, as Paul says, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me (i.e. in my flesh).

Everyone whom God has made born again, will attest that we do not sin habitually, as the Bible says, because we have been born again and we cannot go on sinning habitually.

1 John 3:7-10 (ESV)

 7 Little children, let no one deceive you. Whoever practices righteousness is righteous, as he is righteous.
  8 Whoever makes a practice of sinning is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the works of the devil.
  9 No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, for God’s seed abides in him, and he cannot keep on sinning because he has been born of God.
  10 By this it is evident who are the children of God, and who are the children of the devil: whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is the one who does not love his brother.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
