Famine

In the Olivet discourse the Lord tells everyone to watch for the signs that will come when the end times are approaching. One of these signs are famines throughout various areas of the world. I don't know how many of you watch the news, but not only is the United States experiencing dire agricultural conditions throughout the West and Midwest with intense heat, fires, and flooding, but so too are many other nations experiencing these type of conditions, which is significantly impeding their agricultural production. Time to stock up on some long shelf life foods like rice, oats and oatmeal, and whole grain wheat kernels while they're still available. These bad times are coming upon the whole world, most of whom will be taken by complete surprise when it commences. Take heed while you can.

Prices have gone up sky high everywhere. That can lead to famine. But I am not going to stock up. The Lord is with me and is going to take me in the rapture in his perfect timing.

We are all told to watch for a reason missmuffet. If we were to be raptured without experiencing the signs in the Olivet discourse, then watching for the signs would be unnecessary.

Yes, prices have gone up considerably on seafood and meats. I also notice that some items at the markets have limited quantities. What really took me by surprise yesterday, was that I went to place an online food order at Walmart, seven or eight items of a 20 item list were no longer available.

The global destruction of world economy n shortage of crop will begin at the 3rd Seal opening after antichrist conquer the world with the 1st seal opening. This is irreversible n unrecovered until the great tribulation is over n billions perished.

Jesus tells everyone who will listen to watch (Mark 13:37).

To watch for the signs described in the Olivet discourse is what we are to be looking for in order to take heed. If you watch the world news you will see that in addition to the Western and Midwestern United States, there are many other nations who are experiencing floods and fires and other natural catastrophes that are negatively impacting their agricultural production. Famine is therefore now increasing in many parts of the world.

The worst of times have already begun for many around the world. It's just a matter of time before everyone is affected one way or another. Look at the droughts in the Western and Midwestern United States, prices for produce have only just begun to rise.

Historically, food has always been available somewhere, even during famines [think Egypt]; it's the cost of that food that makes it scarce [war and hyperinflation]. Have the rich, elite, leaders and rulers ever gone hungry historically? No, and why not?

What is coming we see signs of now: Revelation 6:6 (KJV) And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

The oil and wine are either symbolic of luxury items, or the rich and powerful, or both. A penny was the wages for one day's work, and it's going to take a full day's work just to feed one person and no one or nothing else. Hyperinflation [1 million Marks for a loaf of bread] in post WW I Germany, Irish potato famine, as examples; is a prelude and inevitable once again.

Pertaining to famine and the cost and control of food; here's something I've heard no one talk about. Roughly 90% of global food production and the food we consume, is GMO in one form or another. Heirloom and organic seed are scarce and difficult to obtain in quantity. GMO foods are not as nutritious, they are genetically designed to resist drought, fungus and bugs, yes, even Bugs Bunny too . Not to mention today's farm practices of no till, and utilizing every square centimeter of soil. 

Just like the Covid variants and mutations, there is nothing to prevent GMO'S from mutating [it is not natural or God's design]; or killing the pollinators and micro-organisms supporting the soil of plants. Studies have shown that given the choice, animals and rodents will always recognize and choose organic food over GMO given the choice. 

Here's something that we should also be aware of: You cannot glean the seed from GMO plants for next year's crop. It is purposely genetically engineered to thwart that. In addition, it's highly illegal, and punishable by enormous fines and criminal convictions, even by accident [check out Monsanto's harsh law suites]. All GMO seed is patented, controlled and strictly enforced, by just a few companies. That means they control all the globes food seed and production. He who controls the food, controls the world [Dennis's book of "2 Opinions 8:21"].

The only time I stock up is when I know there will be a snow storm. The Mormons stock up for worldly disasters. God will take care of me so I am ok.
