That was prior to the beginning of a pandemic that has killed millions of people worldwide and about 1 in 500 Americans. Sometimes things change and reasonable advice must also change. Obviously, do all of the things to keep your body healthy, but there is nothing controversial about advice to wear a mask during a pandemic caused by a virus carried primarily by respiratory droplets.

What's really amusing is seeing those back-to-back videos of Dr. Fauci flip-flopping about things, including masks.

Flashback to the 80's when he advised doctors give AZT for HIV that according to some killed thousands of people.

Keep in mind that in the beginning Fauci admitted that he lied to us about the effectiveness of wearing masks because he knew there wasn't enough to go around and he wanted them saved for medical staff.    I know here in Oklahoma the hospitals put out a request for people to donate what masks they had to medical institutions.

Problem is that when we did get enough masks to go around too many people didn't believe they would do any good.

I had an annual check-up with my cardiologist last month and I asked him how he had avoided getting the virus working on so many people that were sick and he pointed to his mask and gloves.

Either that, or your doctor does not know for a fact that the mask and gloves staved off Covid 19, and instead he caught Covid 19 and was simply asymptomatic.  Now with his naturally immunity being 27 times better than the vaccine, that's what keeps him from being sick?

Coincidentally, I am pretty sure that's how it worked out with me.

Well, if the doctor made that claim, he was employing a logic fallacy called Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc.   In insisting the doctor is correct about his statement simply because he is a 'heart specialist' would employ the Appeal to Authority logic fallacy. 

What makes the doctor's natural immunity to Covid 19 an impossibility?

Some people doubt the potential of their own God-given immune system. 

The late George Carlin said that when he was a kid in the 1940s, he used to swim in the Hudson River which was filled with raw sewage, you know, to cool off.  He was making the point about the strength of his own immune system because his immune system had practice.  He said he was tempered in raw sewage. 

Where did this idea come from that a vaccine is the only solution to Covid 19?
