This tells when The Pre -Trib Rapture was first preach by a man named Kim Darby in the year 830. Before that there was no such teaching. This leaves us to why it became so popular among many church denominations. Its an escapist theology which I like to call a feel good doctrine.

When i was a young believer ( not meaning a kid) I went to a Pentecostal church for seven years. I was a rock hard believer in Pre-Trib, immovable 

I met some friends who challenged me to prove my case. so i started to study to prove then wrong. To my dismay there were many loop holes and not one thing to give a solid foundation for the teaching. It is admonished by Paul to Timothy.. " show your self approved a workman who need not be ashamed but rightly dividing the world of truth". This led me to think why is it that these denominations did not  study such as the Bereans did after Paul spoke to them. So again why? It could only be that they afraid of the truth. This will be an indictment on the day of Judgment 

Suffering for Christ sake was not pleasing to them so the pre- Trb teaching  was just excepted and became popularized. This popularity made much money for the church that believed. this falsehood.

Lets see if we can get a better perspective on this verse. First it says, Because you have kept my command to persevere. Meaning to withstand or hold fast, I will keep you from the hour of trial. The hour is not literal, but is the day of Gods wrath. We are not appointed to Gods wrath. It does not say  that we will not have persecution from  the antichrist. This church was found by God as honorable. so God says if you continue to be honorable and steadfast I will keep you from the judgment of  wrath  that will come on the whole world because the world did not honor nor believed. God could have taken that church right then and your belief would be true because you say antichrist persecution and Gods wrath are all together for seven years. However it does not say  that. Persecution and Gods wrath are two different things and scripture makes that very pain.

You are picking at the words and giving it your own meaning. You do not believe in the rapture of the Church. Suit yourself.

I never use the word rapture  because it has become synonymous with pre trib.  Just say rapture to anyone and what comes to  mind. So I stay with catching away or taken up. How did the persecuted bride get to heaven to be honored  of God, at the end of the last 3&1/2 years after being persecuted, and you  would think pre trib saints were special. Why are they not there on that sea of glass with those who gave there life.  Rev 15:2  Give me a real answer please

If you search and study we find there were many 300ad before that and after that wrote about the great tribulation and caught up happening first. One in 300-400AD a Hymn writer and preacher I saw the scroll on the INTERNET and then a TV show Grant Jeffrey showed those scrolls and you could read about how that hymn writer believed caught up would happen before the great tribulation.

I've listen to Dr Brown once pre trib now post trib say with a big smile "who has ever read the bible and come away with pre trib. Yeah no one".. here I am and many others like me. Then Jeffrey showed even more writing before 300ad. Perry Stone has share about them.. like him or not is not what were talking about. 

I don't know why "pre-trib" gets treated the way it does by some that love Jesus christ as lord. Oh man they make fun of them call them names.. that should say something right there. Fact no one is going to show that POST verse its not there nor a pre trib verse. 

A simple switch with one word will get you "The Post-Tribulation Rapture philosophy also leads to other false doctrines".

Again to just flip this I know off the top of my head some that have made allot of money off "POST TRIBULATION" books and talks what not.

Easy for me right now to say "I will die for you if I have to.. never deny you Jesus" Hello PETER! Now you and me don't wake up and see Jesus all day and then do SO many wonders all 12 did.. all 12 left Him. Wanna suffer for Jesus then head on over to some 3rd world nation.. yeah not gonna happen. Hundreds of thousands of our brothers and sisters suffer so much.. just awful things. Gonna head on over there and tell them .. sorry its going to get so much worse.. so bad you cant even grasp it. 

Face it we have to have faith that He went to make us a home.. we will never see taste Gods wrath. No one knows. Were you promised tomorrow? Hmm maybe do like He said. watch pray be ready now? Since this is the moment He gave us. I always share this a great man of God went home now but said "I am post Trib but! If Jesus comes pre trib? I am ready now".  He knew the word study most of his life and knew what was not written. Very wise.
