 SANCTIFIED through Christ once and for all. For by one offering HE hath PERFECTED FOREVER them that ARE SANCTIFIED. Whereof, of this that was just spoken of. This perfectness of the sanctified the HOLY GHOST ALSO TESTIFIES IN THAT HE SAYS BEFORE, "This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them".

Heb 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Heb 10:11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;
Heb 10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Heb 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
Heb 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

What I think your eluding to is that once your sanctified you can no longer become unsanctified no matter what (Once Saved Always Saved).  I don't believe scriptures agree with that in fact if you continue to read just a few verses later in same passage (Heb 10: 26-31).  It clearly says if we continue willfully sin after we have received the knowledge of truth and were sanctified then there remains no more sacrifice but a fearful judgement.

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? For we know him that hath said, Vengeance [belongeth] unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people. [It is] a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. - Heb 10:26-31 KJV

Peter confirms this:

For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known [it], to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: "A dog returns to his own vomit," and, "a sow, having washed, to her wallowing in the mire." - 2Pe 2:20-22 NKJV

No I don't think that. However I see where you might think so.

These verses do state that our sanctification is done. As in past tense and we have been perfected forever. And this perfectness is byproduct of the new Covenant, the putting of God's commandments in our hearts and minds.

However we can be unsanctified by sinning willfully.

Because of being sanctified by His blood and perfected by His Law in our hearts and minds we therefore have Boldness to enter into the holiest of all through the veil, that is to say His flesh. Let us hold fast this profession of our faith. That we are sanctified and perfected. Considering one another, provoking unto love, good works and exhorting one another as we see the day approaching. For, BECAUSE OF WHAT WAS JUST SHARED. IF WE ARE SINNING WILLFULLY after receiving the knowledge of us being SANCTIFIED through Christ's blood AND PERFECTED through the New Covenant there remains no more sacrifice for sin. ONLY a certain fearful looking forward to judgement and fiery indignation which shall devour the adversaries Those who are sinning willfully, trodding underfoot the Son of God, and counting the blood of the covenant in which we were sanctified an unholy thing and has done despite upon the Spirit of Grace.

Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
Heb 10:20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;
Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Heb 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
Heb 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised.
Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Heb 10:26 For if we are sinning wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Heb 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Heb 10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
Heb 10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?
Heb 10:30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

Very inspirational post.

Now lets read how you would apply this practically to our daily lives?

As James said, If one merely blesses a starving person and does nothing to feed them that is useles.

James 2:15-16,? 15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?

So apply it.

   Just one thing,if I may.....We are not actually "perfected" by the Law being Written on our hearts & Minds but by the Body & Blood of the Perfect Lamb of God & in this Sanctification the Law is Written on our hearts & minds -as we have the Heart & Mind of Christ Jesus

  Agree? Jesus indeed fulfilled all the Law & the prophets..,..so I understand exactly what you are saying,I mean no disrespect & I'm not in disagreement...I only wanted to add that as it is Written

Many confuse the salvation Christ has purchased with His Own Life and set up a logical error not by works yet by works and they seem happy with it... However if it is by works Christ died in vain -why-?
Gal 2:21

21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

You have to evaluate scripture with all of scriptures not just snippets of Paul's writings.  We deceive our selves if was just follow Paul snippets but reject the rest of scriptures.  Truth is established by multiple witnesses and not just the testimony of one.  Faith and works are both a part of salvation and not just faith alone.   You can not go around confessing your a follower of Christ and yet deny him in your actions.  We are told we must strive (labor/work fervently) to enter the Kingdom of God because many will seek to enter but only a few will be saved.  If we go around saying we know him yet live in disobedience to his teaching then we are liars and THE TRUTH is not in us.

James Apostle and  Brother of Jesus:

What [doth it] profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? ... Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect? And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only. - Jas 2:14, 17-24 KJV

Jesus:

Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive [labor fervently] to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all [ye] workers of iniquity. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you [yourselves] thrust out. And they shall come from the east, and [from] the west, and from the north, and [from] the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last. - Luk 13:23-30 KJV

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that DOETH the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity (sin/wickedness/lawlessness). - Mat 7:21-23 KJV

Apostle John:

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. - 1Jo 2:3-4 KJV

Paul agrees:

They profess that they know God; but in works they deny [him], being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. - Tit 1:16 KJV

Thank you friend, may the Lord continue to bless in all His Way. Here is something for your consideration.

Please do not misunderstand I am not a KJV only purporter. But if we go by their translation the whereof in verse 15 grammatically relates back to the last statement made in verse 14, which would be that we are perfected. Couple that with the witness that with what the Holy Spirit testified in regards to us being perfected. Which is  the Law is to be in our hearts and minds. Or as Romans 10:8 puts it, The word in our hearts and mouths. For it is God that works in us both to will and do His good pleasure. Phil 2:8

Heb 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Heb 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
Heb 10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
