I agree Facebook is just a tool

the enemy has lots of cohorts and we need to try to use it sometimes for good

example ; Joel Osteen, knowing now what I know about his church history and his fathers history I don’t tune in, But many years ago as a fledgling his YouTube sermons brought me closer to God

i would be working out listening to him, taking the good ignoring the bad

God can even use the enemy to get his word out, so just like Facebook God has given us the ability to find a way to turn the enemies tools against him

I know what you mean.  I became a Christian originally from Word-Faith teaching until the Holy Spirit showed me the errors in their teaching.  When you're filled with the Holy Spirit, false teaching sticks out like a sore thumb.

Talking about FB ,FB wants you to live in VR in the near future and stay in there as much as possible, where are we heading to?

No different than here.   you are all VR you know.   BTW I ride my recumbent bike watching Youtube videos when it's too hot or too cold to get out.   We interface here probably more than with our physical friends.  Whatever we have to say about Facebook, you can say about Worthy.

Imagine if some huge event forced people to not be able to leave thier homes a “ quarantine “ people quitting jobs only to work from home, job interviews online, kids attending school online, the world living in the space of a living room being conditioned to living through the internet

Whoops that already happened?

Covid changed everything and now it will go to another level with crypto currency, online real estate, it’s going to be a whole lot more complicated than staring at your laptop my brother

Im not sure why I quoted you, it has nothing to do with you brother, guess I’m trigger happy with the quote ? Forgive

Covid changed everything

It did for a some time for us, but our lives have gone back to normal except for the crazy politics and has for nearly a year.  We come and go as we did in 2019 and all is well here. We took our first two Pfizer shots in January and three weeks later just returned to normal for us.   I do carry a mask in my pocket for those places that still require them, but that's not a big deal for us.  Washington DC is a problem, but so far here in Oklahoma we haven't paid a lot of attention to them concerning covid since we stopped the lockdown, not long after it was put in place.

Most thing affected me personally is they closed the Y and shut down where I get hair cuts.   I bought a Flobee hair cutting system and do my own haircuts since Feb. 2020.  It's saved me about $200 since Feb. 2020.  The Y has been open over a year now so we exercise there instead of the back yard.  Had doctors check-up appointments last month with my general doctor and my cardiologist and they say all is well.  Good news/bad news, I may not get to go to heaven before I'm 100.

A Flobee? isn’t that like a vacuum with clippers hooked up to it?

Be careful I have heard some horror stories about Flobee gone wrong

Praise the Lord brother I’m glad things are getting back to normal for you

How many Christians believe they should keep on using Facebook knowing its practices, and being a high powered business around the world. There maybe believers still with Facebook even on this forum.  Any opinions.

There is no should about this. It is entirely down to individual choice. I chose to delete my account almost  3 years ago. But if other Christians want to use Facebook that is their choice.

I think when we talk about 'should' and 'shouldn't' about things that are not explicit in the scriptures we enter into dangerous territory.

I believe Facebook is the devil and you should stay as far away from it as you can...

I've never had an account and don't want one...

Well, I have used it for a year and a half with no problems.  I don't think I want to go back to the barbershop and give them my money every three weeks or so.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
