I could agree but Jesus never said that we could not be led astray by those like

Calvin or John Darby who made Pre trib Rapture popular in the 1800's

Jesus said for there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great  signs and wonders inasmuch that, if it were possible they shall deceive the very elect

I construct / Supply machine cabinet enclosures to an American Laboratory and Equipment company out of Austin Texas.

Several months back my orders quadrupled. Seems our competition here in America was buying foreign-made product, which couldn't get out of port to be delivered here. We stepped up and filled all their orders, with made in USA product.

If left alone, supply and demand works.

Thank you for that comment. You could be right but the world and its business is still a vital part of trade markets around the world. Is this just about us? Can we supply the world and ourselves alone. What or who is behind this bottleneck'?  course as believers we should not worry about supply and demand. as you said. Jesus said I shall never leave you or forsake you. The world is a complex time bomb We should  not be concerned about what we eat or wear for tomorrow may never come. The unknown has always been a scary thing for man and believers.  Never take your ease and kick back. there is always a snare like a rattle snake in your closet.

I’m hoping that maybe it will encourage more support of local businesses and products made in the USA where possible. They come with a higher price tag but I’d rather pay more for one quality item that is made responsibly than 4 that have been made in China. I know this is sadly not an option for all types of items.

I am more interested in truth rather than fantasy I am a realist. Many things are happening in the world today. Is it just about us. If inflation is a balloon when will it break. We have much we can make right here in our own country. This is true. You say you  rather you'd pay more for one Item here than buy more for less in China. Hear is reality. The poor and the rich exist. It's all about the economy and living on the rich side of town, drive the most expensive cars. Remember when one who was rich came to Jesus to ask Good master what must i do to get to heaven. I have always been good and kept the laws. Jesus said if you really want to go to heaven then go and sell all you have then come and follow me. The Lord has always taken care of His own. The world has many famines and so many starve Where I live its a rich mans town. The poor panhandle for food but are chased away by police. Jesus had no money but never went hungry.  Have we lost site of God

Inflation has been slowly happening for a long time. We don't notice it because it IS so gradual. Maybe you can remember when Gasoline in the US was $1.50 a gallon not too awfully long ago. Everything in our national distribution system is tied to the price of oil. Cost of transport is added into everything. Taxes have increased and are increasing which also adds to the cost of everything.

Fires, hurricanes and floods around the world have impacted both supply and distribution. I think it interesting many people from South America are clamoring to go to the US, yet in the colder months we get a lot of our vegetable and fruits from South America. They have a lot of the food but want to come here where we have less of some things. The US is really good about producing corn out west, but a lot of that goes into Ethanol production.

COVID has really decimated economic systems all over the world. The answer for many countries has been to print more money and give it away to those who were unemployed. This has in many cases, promoted laziness and over dependence on the government for the answers. Jobs which teens and college kids once sought after, now they refuse to work saying the wages are too low. Fast food establishments here are offering unheard of wages to anyone who will work. One ploy used by a few on unemployment is this: They will apply for a job in order to qualify for benefits. They go to the first interview, then find a reason or excuse to refuse the job or make themselves undesirable to hire. They can then show proof they were at a location looking for work. They keep this up as long as they can get away with it. Declaring poverty wages or no reason qualifies them for free food assistance. Some people have made a business out of getting free things from the government instead of looking for work. All of this is further draining already taxed assistance programs.

The prices on some things are kept artificially low through subsidies, which is simply govt. assistance coming in the back door.

The reality of buying foreign products is we now need some of them to function. Most auto parts are now made over seas and yes, they are often of inferior quality.

The question of whether government is pushing us all into an economic down fall is likely true, yet other factors are also involved as mentioned above. All things considered it is amazing to me we have food on store shelves with regularity.

What really saddens me is to see the capability we have for production and distribution dumbed down and eliminated. In one example truckers, who are the life blood of our distribution systems here in the US, are quitting their jobs because they refuse to get the COVID vaccine. As much as 25% of the trucking industry could be affected. Apparently our government thinks it's more important to get a vaccine than it is to get food in our stores, or have nurses on staff, or any other highly visible company that is integral to our operations.

We have the capability but they are all squandering it in order to bring their mandates into law. There was a movie  called " Dumb and Dumber"- They could easily come out with another one and call it " Dumbest" covering all of the recent developments. It's like the balloon has a hole and it's going down. What do we do? We cut another hole in it.

Revelation 6:5-6

When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart[a] of wheat for a denarius,[b]and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”

The Bible predicts severe inflation in the last days. I’m not saying this means we are for sure living in the last days, but as Christians this shouldn’t come as a surprise as we know where the Bible says things are headed.

The silver lining, maybe, (especially for Americans like me, who have been used to such plenty compared to much of the rest of the world) is that these hardships would draw more people towards the eternal hope we have in Heaven. If this forces less focus on the comforts of this world, and more on what lies in Heaven… then that is ultimately a good thing.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
