I’ve heard various forms of this argument many times before. Have you actually looked at the statistics? CDC data shows hundreds of thousands of deaths that are clearly tied to COVID. For example, those with COVID and respiratory failure. The respiratory failure is obviously due to the virus infection. While I am confident that there have been some cases categorized as COVID deaths that should not have been, but there is no evidence showing that those are numerous incidents. HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of Americans have been killed by the virus and there is no way to argue against this fact with empirical evidence.

I know distrust of science is pretty popular right now, but think of it as a consensus opinion among experts in a particular field. When a vast majority of expert plumbers, electricians, or car mechanics have one consensus agreement and a small minority of people in the field make a contrary claim, without evidence to support their claim, who would you trust? It is all about evidence and the contrary claims you see regarding COVID are notably lacking in that department.

Incidentally, I don’t assume disagreement means that someone is stupid, but I can be fairly certain they have been misinformed.

    Fact,no matter how screwed up the stats are!  "ive lost so many friends to this virus,my friends lost family & friends & so on & so on......I dunno,does it have to hit up close & personal for people to acknowledge a global pandemic ???

   You already know that personally I believe half of what I see,practically none of what I read(google,media etc,,,) and really work hard at finding credible resources for info and evidence .....but seriously,I dont trust the CDC,WHO or any of them but you'd have to be Blind,deaf & locked in a closet to believe Covid does not exist,righT?
