Works saved many in the bible as in sacrifices, obeying the law, baptisms, circumcisions, building an ark, etc. If they had not obeyed they would not have been saved. Works were required until the death of Christ and the new testament in His shed blood for remission of sins.

Rom. 3:19,20 (KJV)

19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.
20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

I have a simple question for you:

The entire Population of Planet Earth was all gathered in One Spot and decided to use a [WORKS BASED SALVATION] by building a Tower that went all the way to Heaven and God's Throne.

We know this as the Tower of Babel!

These men were all the way up and beyond Sky Scraping Towers reaching into the immediate atmosphere.

Ultimately, Did God REWARD them from their Work Based Salvation?

Or, did God Punish them over their Work Based Salvation?

There is NO such requirement of God anywhere instructing us to Work for Salvation.  So, how could one conclude as such?

God has always been long suffering and in doing so He made a way to save His people through obedience to the law (old testament) until the knowledge of truth in Christ and His finished work on the cross. We now have a new testament for remission of sins that was not effectual until the death of Christ.

Do you think Noah would have been saved if he had not built the ark?

So true and the death of Christ made it possible. God saved before the cross through obedience to the law as in requiring sacrifices to cover their sins and water baptism for remission they were not justified.

The Law was not designed to Work to Avoid punishment, it's Designed to show what is Sin and what is Not Sin.  People STILL SINNED!   They were then [required] to bring an Offering for their Sins.

So far, NO WORKING for SALVATION HERE!!

And we still SIN today, but our Sin Offering is Christ!

And STILL, No WORKING for Salvation Here!

As far as Noah, God was going to wipe man OFF the face of the Earth, but He did not want to have another Creation of Man, so, He Found GRACE in Noah and chose to use Noah as the Lineage to continue Man.

So, one way or another, God was going to SAVE NOAH (Ark or no Ark) God was going to SAVE Noah.

But the Ark provided shelter for God's other Creation.

The Ark was for preserving God's Creation to continue onward.

So, there ARE NO [examples] of Work Base Salvation anywhere you have given to me!

We need to study Leviticus well to see what the various sacrifices were for. They were very limited in scope and there was no sacrifice for the mortal or moral sins mostly.

The Law is quite different to what most people say it is. Study Leviticus well.

Yeshua's blood PURGED the way for us to be saved by coming to His Throne of Grace. In Hebrews, we learn that Jesus is the only- begotten Son, creator and heir of all things, the express image of God's person, and has purged our sins.

The Law had very little of that and was mostly concerned with keeping sacred space free of contaminants and thus allowing access for worship.

The ARK provided shelter for male/female of certain Specie of the Animal Kingdom.

The Animals were SAVED by the ARK!

But, in the 120 years it took to build the Ark, DID THESE ANIMALS WORK FOR THEIR SALVATION THAT GOD GAVE TO THEM?

NOPE!!

No Works Based Salvation for the Animals inside the Ark!!

Yes Brother that spoke to me

The Law is like a mirror I wake up I look in the mirror it shows me my hair is a mess, it shows me I got crusty in my eyes?

But the mirror can’t brush my hair or wash my face , I still have to that myself

The law was just a mirror and then the Father had to send a walking talking version of the Law in the flesh to actually “ show them” how to obey Gods laws

Good message Brother

Lev 26:21  And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
Lev 26:22  I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your high ways shall be desolate.
Lev 26:23  And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;
Lev 26:24  Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
