so what does apply you or anyone?

1 Corinthians 10:11-13 (NKJV) Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.
Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.

1 Corinthians 10: 13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

so in this phrase  the person is going to be tempted beyond

How you resist this greater temptation, the Lord  say its beyond, all temptations

but with the temptation will also make the way of escape

Again Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall, something or someone, with greater temptation beyond that bring you into captivity

In Romans 7: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Are you warring against yourself ?

this greater temptation, the Lord say  beyond that bring you into captivity

but with the greater temptation will also make the way of escape

So how can you  escape the greater temptation that beyond that is not common to a man or women?

Remember we are flesh

Ok this says if you read this carefully same chapter

13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted,he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

We hear that phrase “ God never puts more on us than he knows we can handle”

this is saying the same, believe that he will see you through it

as a kid I was homeless, I lived on microwave popcorn and took baths in gas station barhrooms

i now make 20 dollars an hour I only have to work 2 days a week and while everyone else is at work sweating or sitting a desk I can take a nap ?

Im not patting myself on the back because God did this, yes I had to go through some tough times, but it was not more than I could handle and now my reward is I get to relax

We have a bigger reward waiting for us, and Paul is saying have faith that God won’t put more on us than we can handle- Trust, we follow by faith not by sight Brother?

Wow, are you really stooping to the "Pee Wee Herman" "I know what you are, but what am I" argument?

I think it's time I stopped for today...

LOVE YA BROTHER!

Praying you'll see the light!

Jesus said he was working on the Sabbath and you say it's a sin to work on the sabbath so what am I to think....      You really are calling Jesus a sinner. And because you can't fathom that you might be wrong about the old covenant laws not in affect with born again Christians.

Mabey one verse we can all agree on here from Paul

Galatians 1:10

For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.
Brothers are we not feeding our own ego at this point?

can we just agree to disagree without spiritual sword fights

This is why there is so much division in our churches, Brothers let’s remember

1 Peter 4:8

Above all, love each other deeply because love covers over a multitude of sins. ?

We won’t always agree God made us unique, but he didn’t create the law so his family that he loves will fight over it

trials and tribulation never end, when one live the life of Job those who endure the  trials, of Satan until the end your not there yet

Matthew 24:21-22 (NKJV) For then there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor ever shall be.
And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect's sake those days will be shortened.

Hebrews 12:6-8 (NKJV)For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives."
If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten?
But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons.

you must be partaker of Christ's suffering

so take your nap

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live: yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify: and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. For he that is dead is freed from sin. Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Galatians 2:20; Matthew 23:34; Romans 6:6-8; Galatians 5:11;

Matthew 27:38; Colossians 2:11

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
